Bottle shared downtown during RBWG 2014 - Asheville Late-Nite. Cheers! Pours clear gold with a bubbly head. Tangy and leafy, lightly astringent, with notes of wood and ripening berries. Light to medium bodied with fine carbonation. Tangy and drying on the finish, woody. OK. Enjoyit (3809) - Vadum, DENMARK - OCT 16, 2015
Unclear orange of color with an off white head. An aroma of flowers, caramel, nuts, oak, fart, perfume and weak sour. A flavor of caramel, wood, spice, alkohol, oak, brandy and weak sour. MetalNHopHead (2129) - Lincoln, Nebraska, USA - APR 11, 2015
This beer was almost certainly infected. If I get the opportunity, I’ll have a proper batch and fix the rating as needed. This beer poured a muddy shade of brown and had virtually no head. Aroma was... earthy, to put it kindly. Sour yeast and booze taste. Mouthfeel was flat. HuskerTan (2337) - Ravenna, Nebraska, USA - APR 11, 2015

A- Shit, sewage water, slightly boozy, caramel.
A- Copper color, hazy liquid, off white head.
T- Caramel, slightly boozy, dirty, unbalanced, slightly sour.
P- Medium body, average texture, average carbonation, astringent finish.
O- This was really bad. So bad and off tasting, I can’t help but believe this is infected. That or Jackie O’s made such an awful beer that it was a drain pour. Plus, I don’t think this was supposed to be sour at all. Big let down with this one. jackl (8300) - Minneapolis, Minnesota, USA - JUN 27, 2014
Sample @ RBWG, Asheville. Amber pour with a small head. Farty yeast aroma. Slightly boozy wood and apricot orchard. Taste of apple and bruised pear. Old leather and wood. Strong yeast character. Medium body, soft carbonation.

Tasted from bottle at the Friday night tasting at RBWG Asheville, thanks to Bzake17 for sharing. Pours hazy burnt orange with a thin beige head that slowly recedes to thin lace. The nose is funky, a bit tart, with sweet caramel and some vanilla oak. The flavor is the same with the dry funk, starting to turn more sour, with the malty and barrel character on the back. The body is full, almost syrupy, with average carbonation and a long funky caramel finish.

>> Pours amber with low carbonation, no foam. Nose is caramel, toffee, buttery barrel, flashes of white alcohol and acetone. Taste is thin, tart, souring/acidic, raspberries, sour berries. Interesting, just beware that it has certainly soured in the barrel.

2011 bottle #127/341.
Clear medium brown almost no head.
Complex aroma. Vinous.
There’s a slightly sharp vinous sourness to this that detracts from the overall.
Started better than it ended up.

Bottle at RBWG 2014, thanks! Pours a clear amber orange with a gray head that dissipates to the edges. Aroma has brandy and sweet grains with a bit of toffee backing. Flavor has notes of sweet grain and sweet bread with a touch of brandy. Drake (14061) - Milwaukee, Wisconsin, USA - FEB 10, 2014
