Yes a lower gravity sour from Brad and the crew @ Jackie O’s. My Favorite of the bottles released for one funky afternoon! Hazy brown pour with a thin beige head. Aroma is really complex; pecan, maple, brett, and leather. Flavor is sour with hints of dark fruit, nutz, oaky tannins and aceto- bacter. Sour and full of brett. Bottle. Poured into a DT tulip glass a light tan color with minimal head. Solid aroma of cherry, oak, and slight vanilla. Light mouthfeel. Cherry, slight acetone, oaky, and some minimal vanilla. Really nice and sour but not overly so. Clean. Ends with a slight dryness. The fruit flavors are really nice. hopscotch (11236) - Vero Beach, Florida, USA - JUN 11, 2011
Bottle… This beer rocks!… Clear, dark brown ale with a small, creamy, white head. The bouquet offers cocoa, red wine, dark cherries and mild oak. Medium to full-bodied and creamy with gentle carbonation. The flavor is of black cherries, sour cherries, light chocolate, mild nuttiness and oaken acidity. Tart, tongue-numbing finish that dries way out. Many thanks to darkguardian for sharing this world class bottle of beer! daknole (11402) - Scottsdale, Arizona, USA - AUG 13, 2011

Sample at One Funky Afternoon at Jackie O’s on 04/02/2011: The beer pours a dark brown color with almost plum colored highlights. Thin off-white head that diminishes quickly. Short strings of lacing on the glass. Aroma of tart fruit and sweet molasses. Medium body with a moderately sour fruit character underscored by sweet malt. The finish is fruity with a mild maple and malt aftertaste. I enjoyed this one. markwise (5450) - North of Tampa, Florida, USA - APR 28, 2011
In a bottle from the Jackie O’s Release. Pours a hazy brown with an off-white head. Nose is malts, some vinegar, some slight leather, some vinegar, some acetic quality, and some earthy tartness with some wood. Flavor is similar with lingering acetone tart earthy berry/ vinous fruit, and finishes with a lingering dryness and vinegar. Funky hints throughout. Medium-bodied and a very interesting sour. Bottle shared by alexsdad06. Poured a clear reddish brown color with a minimal fizzy off-white head that mostly diminished with fair lacing. Moderate to heavy sour tart fruit aroma. Medium to full body with a smooth sticky texture and flat carbonation. Medium to heavy sour & sweet flavor with a medium to heavy sweet & sour finish of moderate to long duration. This is a standout beer.
