Dark brown with reddish tint... Aroma of red wine barrel, dark cherries, brown malts... Flavor is amazingly complex, sour cherries, red wine, Cabernet grapes... Cabernet oak on finish... Delicious

650 ml bottle, thanks to ClarkVV on this one! Date of 08/ 15. Deep brown / almost black pour, almost no head. Aroma is just faint cherry, mild lactic acid. ClarkVV (6825) - Boston, Massachusetts, USA - NOV 28, 2015
Flavor is more lactic acid note underneath a mild cherry sourness. Light vinegar.... Ummm no.

Unclear violet-tinged ruby with a dark beige head that recedes to ring.
Meaty cherries, tart and with plentiful vanilla. Chocolate intrudes with a heavy creaminess and light acetic character. Not much beer character. Pretty fruit dominated.
Thin, acetic and acidic flavor is very lacking in any maltiness. Ultra dry and were it given to a tight carbonation and creamy consistency, i could deal with all of this naked acidity. Grainy, astringent, heavily acidic and just not anything id care to ever drink.
Bomber shared by ClarkVV. Batch A3 bottle 404 dated 8/15. Thanks Clark! Poured about an ounce in about 2oz of Caravaggio and that tasted pretty damn good. Let’s see what it’s like on its own. Pours dark amber with a beige head. Aroma is chocolate, cherry lifesaver. Flavor is chocolate, tart cherry. Tastes better in the Caravaggio. Poured from bottle thanks ClarkVV dark brown with and thin head. Aromas of funk cherry and red wine and oak. Taste is nice and tart wine up front with cherry in the end. Heather_B (256) - New Hampshire, USA - NOV 28, 2015
I like this! Very cherry forward in both aroma and taste. Dark brown pour with light tan head. The sour cherry balances well with chocolate notes. AdamChandler (5113) - Enfield, New Hampshire, USA - NOV 28, 2015
This is a rather light brown ale with a bit of red. just a little bit of carbonate. Whoa, loads of cherry aroma with a tart lacto bite. Lots of cherry, a bit of sour raspberry, wood, good bitterness, some nice maltiness here with some really nice finish. Really refreshing. the color had me thinking this was going to be pretty malty. instead, really special. DrunkSanta410 (967) - Tulsa, Oklahoma, USA - NOV 20, 2015
Bottle at home. Thanks Brad! Pours a very dark brown almost black. Little head. Flashes and gone. Aroma is a bit funky, fruity cherry, faint cocoa, faint red wine and oak. Smells great. Taste is a bit tart, funky, leathery with red wine up front, finishes with nice subtle chocolate cherry flavors. Interesting! Medium body, medium to highly carbonated. Cool beer!
