Bottle at Andy and Max’s fantasy tasting. Pours a very rich deep dark near pitch black with a nice lasting thin deep beige head. Aroma is cinnamon spice like, with big roast, sweet bourbon and oak, fresh potent coffee which melds to a spicy green peppery kick with mint chocolate chip. Flavor is grassy, spicy- peppers, cinnamon, and phenolics, big roast, nutty dark chocolate, anise, brown burnt malt gets a touch hot and harsh- some alcohol and bourbon with vanilla as it warms. j12601 (12000) - Poughkeepsie, New York, USA - MAY 1, 2010

(22oz, bottle # 11/156, courtesy of BMan1113VR) Pours a brown body with a medium beige head. Aroma of coconut, chilies, coffee, chocolate, light citrus, and rum raisins. Flavor of coconut, cocoa, roasted malt, caramel, and a light citrus tang. wavers1 (916) - Notown, California, USA - MAR 25, 2010
pours a very dense ruby to opaque brown color with a small pour brown head. aroma has cinnamon coming through in a great way, along with a slightly acidic black coffee and plenty of roast, with a bit of heat at the end. the flavor is good with a nice spicy profile from the bourbon and cinnamon, some sweet barrel and body notes, and then a drying roasty finish. the body is good, could stand to be a bit thicker, just a touch watery and with a low level of carb. the cinnamon and the borbon with the drying roast and sweet film make up for it though. i think this will either get a good bit better or worse in abotu a year, we will see!

Some nice ruby color in addition to the typical stout darkness. Aroma has nice cinnamon and dark fruit elements. Flavor has a lot going on, not just what was in the aroma but also some citric acid (which could be acidity from the coffee mixed in with the fruit elements) and even coconut. Glad I got to try this one. Tart finish that lingers. If you can get your hands on a bottle, do it. travita (5006) - Dallas, Texas, USA - MAR 13, 2010
Bottle thanks to bman113vr. The smell is coffee, malts, coconut, chocolate, charcoal, roasty, and fruits. The look is brown to black in color, some legs, not head. The taste is sweet, malts, coffee, fruits, and coconut. MeadMe (1662) - Fishhawk, Florida, USA - MAR 9, 2010
limited release thanks to markwise.
A: Pours a deep dark black with a small tan head. No real retention or lace.
S: Aromas of oak, booze, coffee, and cinnamon (sort of hunahpus esque).
T: Flavors of coffee grounds, bitter cinnamon, chocolate, and wood.
M: Medium in body, medium carbonation.
D: Does not blend together as well as hunahpus, but it still works. I liked it.

Very nice and smooth imperial stout.
Another rarity broke out by footbalm, thanks again man. 12/2/2009. Pours a pure oily black color with a small brown head. The nose is full of wood, chocolate malts, toasted notes, nutty and cinnamon. The flavor is nice; loads of rich coffee, chocolates, sweet barrel, and light bourbon. Quite nice.
