Bottle shared by alexsdado6. Poured rclea reddish brown color with a minimal frothy brown head that mostly lasted with good lacing. Moderate to heavy dark grape and tart fruit aroma. Moderate to full body with a smooth slick texture and soft carbonation. Medium to heavy red grape flavor with a medium sweet finish of moderate to long duration. My expectations where exceeded with a complex beer.

Sample at the HSC Sour Beer Tasting on 06/19/2010: Thanks to JaBier for sharing bottle #106/156. The beer is a dark brown color with some hints of red. Thin light beige head that recedes quickly, and spotty lacing. Aroma of vinous fruit, dark malt and chocolate. Rich body with flavors of black cherry, roasted malt, vanilla and cedar. The finish is malty with a lingering cherry aftertaste. Good all around. crossovert (12642) - Chicago, Illinois, USA - APR 28, 2013
So a really funky and weird idea. It came out more of a fruit beer than anythign for me, the porter dosn’e dominate the huge barrel and cherry notes. jcwattsrugger (12418) - Florida and, New Jersey, USA - MAR 17, 2010
