pours unclear brown reddish with a nice light beige cap, good retention and leaves a nice lacing. cherries, wood, tobacco, spices, perfumy bourbon vanilla, fairly nutty and malted, caramel and toffee. moderate carbonation, medium body - oily, lightly acidic and grassy-spicy finish. not outstanding but nicely crafted! tom10101 (6297) - Quebec, CANADA - OCT 16, 2013
Bottle (22 oz). From cparles, thanks Chris! Dark reddish/amber with a small off-white head and good lacing. Aroma of cherries, vanilla, oak and light caramel. Taste is about the same with red fruits, oak and caramel... a little milder though. Medium body. Low to medium carbonation. Slightly dry. Not too acetic. A well constructed Flanders Red. mathieuc (4000) - Québec, Quebec, CANADA - OCT 15, 2013
Pours a dark copper with a nice head that gives out a lot of lacing. Aroma is acetic and fruity, quite reminiscent of a Flanders Red. Taste is tart and showcases tart cherries. There is also a good amount of sweetness in there with neither being on top of the other. A good oud bruin!

Bottle. Deep red pour with white head (looking good). Intense cherry/vanilla aroma, earthy notes, damp earth. Taste is sour, acetic (not overdone), very good potent cherry flavor. Good palate, medium dryness, low carbonation. Very good.

Bottle shared by Darkguardian. Clear dark amber pour with an off white head. Malt and barrel aromas. Really sour with mild cherry, vinegar, malt, and woody notes. Decent body and mouthfeel. jsquire (4662) - St. Marys, Ohio, USA - AUG 23, 2013
UPDATED: SEP 21, 2013 Reddish brown color out of the bottle with almost no head. The nose had nice candy cherries with some wood and funk. Cherry, bitter chocolate, wood chips, cider vinegar and funk all blend to make this a palatable beer for someone who does not generally like the funk. Pours brownish red with good carbonation. The head disappeared quickly and left a profound ring that hug my glass. The aroma is funky, fruity, it has a light oak scent, and a weak grain character. In the flavor I picked up on potent tart cherries, oak, vinegar, sugar, and a touch of malts. The finish is sour, cherries, and minor yeast. Overall this is a relaxing and a semi easy drinkable beverage. DrSilverworm (10000) - Cincinnati, Ohio, USA - AUG 21, 2013
Taster at Jackie-Os. Mostly hazy dark brown / red color. Minimal white head. Bigger body. Lighter, crisp, tingly carbonation. Awesome huge tart taste. Good big woody tartness, light dark fruit, hint of chocolate, light spice. Very complex, woody tart sour brown flavor to it. One of the more tasty, complex sour browns I’ve ever had. A very satisfying level of sour taste, makes me salivate, but not pucker. Awesome woody spiciness, light dark fruit, nuts, and light chocolate, with just a very light acidic finish hopdog (13191) - Lansdale, Pennsylvania, USA - MAY 30, 2013
Bottle. Poured an amber/brown color with a small sized off white head. Some vinegar, cherries, citrus, funky, caramel, and woody. Earthiness too.
