COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
This hauntingly good brew in your hand is rife with dark complexities. Eleven malts were used to create deep flavors of coffee, chocolate, caramel, and molasses. A hint of bitterness and herbal character from carefully selected American hops help support the monolithic maltiness of Dark Apparition. After a month of conditioning in stainless steel, the beer was transferred into bourbon barrels. For 8 months, Dark Apparition waited patiently in oak barrels until the time was right to spring forth with its ghostly gusto. A truly decadent brew that is intended to be poured into your favorite snifter and given time to warm up from its dark and cold resting place. Be aware when in the presence of Dark Apparition ’cause this ghost is a creeper.

Lore (2863) - Budapest, HUNGARY - OCT 13, 2017
dark brown colour, minimal, quickly disappearing beige head; aroma of dark chocolate, some vanilla, bourbon and woody notes, as well as soy sauce or yeast extract; taste of dark chocolate, dried cherry soaked in alcohol, soy sauce, some toffee, bourbon, butter and vanilla notes and intensive, long lasting alcoholic-chili pepper spiciness in the aftertaste; great "beer"

Bottle. Classic imp stout in bourbon. Coffee, dark choclate, vanilla, coconut. Rather sweet, with hint of roasty notes.

Hoprider (726) - DENMARK - OCT 1, 2017
Aroma has a fairly sweet bourbon footprint, some chocolate and some coffee. Taste is mildly roasted with some sweet vanilla from the wood. Bourbon sweetness too. Alc very well hidden. Smooth mouthfeel. Good beer.

Thank you, Mart (5:4:6:4:13=3.2)
Holy fuck, immense booze boost from this. Sweet raisony aspects. Dull flat palate. Buttery and sweet, barrels eveerywhere, maybe booze everywhere. kinda nice late-night sipper. (anna: Aroma is soft roasty stuff with bourbon, buttery warmth but not boozy as such. The taste, however, is boozy. Roasty and bourbon, hottish bourbon finish. Better than the non-BA version.)

Marduk (8206) - Reval, ESTONIA - SEP 30, 2017
330ml bottle (thanks martjoobolut). Pitch black color. Tiny to almost no head. Caramel, roast, sweet, alcohol, raisin and plums in aroma. Roast, plums, caramel, dark fruits, sweet in taste. Semi dark smoked plum in aftertaste. Soft carbonation. Very very solid brew.

375ml bottle, thanks martjoobolut. Pours dark brown colour, small beige head as ring. Aroma of roast, bourbon, some coconut, chocolate. Taste is boozy, chocolatey, bourbon, roasty enough. Full bodied, average carbo. Boozy, but taste is nice, even better than without BA.

suurjuust (3674) - ESTONIA - SEP 30, 2017
375ml bottle shared by Mart, thanks! Dark brown beer, no head to speak of. Nose is tons of barrel and booze, bourbon, vanilla, caramel. Flavor is caramel and bourbon, woody notes, chocolate, roast, tannins. Flavorful.

Pachnie intensywnie kokosem, wanilią i dębiną. W tle lekko wyczuwalna kawa. Polecam.
