Sweet vanilla and cocoa, very nutty, sweet overall and quite light despite the ABV. Note: it says 20% aged in Bourbon Barrels on the label. Gription79 (2890) - Bountiful, Utah, USA - MAY 25, 2013

Bottle... Black pour with a small, creamy, khaki head. The nose is a generous, lush blend of dark chocolate and toasted tree nuts. Full-bodied with a lightly creamy mouthfeel and tingly carbonation. The flavor is mainly nutty and alcoholic. Finishes burnt and stupid boozy. I really like this treatment. Bottle courtesy of darkguardian! phaleslu (10239) - Cincinnati, Ohio, USA - JAN 11, 2013
Draft at urbancaver’s place. Thanks, Cam! Pours a deep, opaque brown with a big tan head that settles over time and reveals some floating nut pieces in the brew. Chunky. Aroma is super nutty and dry, with roasted malts, dark chocolate and coffee. Flavor of hazelnut, cashew, caramel, roast, cola, and root beer. Sweeter than the nose. Medium-bodied, with a sweet, chunky, roasty mouthfeel and low carbonation. Weird beer. Glad I got to try it.
