COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
This hauntingly good brew in your hand is rife with dark complexities. Eleven malts were used to create deep flavors of coffee, chocolate, caramel, and molasses. A hint of bitterness and herbal character from carefully selected American hops help support the monolithic maltiness of Dark Apparition. A truly decadent brew that is intended to be poured into your favorite snifter and given time to warm up from its dark and cold resting place. Be aware when in the presence of Dark Apparition ’cause this ghost is a creeper.

Piana nieduża, sycząca, szybko opada prawie do zera. Niska do średniej, palona goryczka, delikatna pikantność, lekkie likierowe rozgrzewanie. Pełne, nieco popiołowe, nisko wysycone w odbiorze.
Generalnie bardziej przypomina mi to imperialnego portera niż RISa, jest dość delikatne, mało palone, nie agresywne, z motywem ciemnych owoców i wszechobecnej czekolady.

Barwa czarna, nietrwała beżowa piana. W aromacie karmel, melasa, słodka czekolada, lekko kawowe, delikatna owocowość. Zapach trochę mnie zszokował, dość nietypowy. W smaku podobnie dziwnie. Nuty opiekanego chleba, karmel, słaba czekolada i kawa, trochę owocowe. Solidne ciało, gładka faktura, wysycenie niskie do średniego. Ogólnie piwo jest dobre, ale nie takich doznań spodziewałem się po imperialnym stoucie. Trochę przypomina mi portera.

Dark brown color with creamy, mocha head. Aroma has roasted malt, some savory notes, light umami and some caramel. Taste is slightly sweet at first, malty but continues with roasty and slightly savory notes and a coffee bitterness on the finish. Medium body and carbonation. Overall it's a really well made, roasty RIS.

Solid smooth roasted malts, dark chocolate, coffee, dried plums, bit licorice, light herbal. Moderate sweetness with moderate bitterness. Solid all the way, but without "Wow" effect.

Chocolate, coffee, roasted malts, pralines and licorice in nose. Pours black with tall tan lacy head. Taste is sweet to medium sweet with chocolate, coffee, caramel, roasted malts, licorice, dark fruits. Medium bitter finish, full to average body, soft carbonation. Overall very good, complex, balanced and easy going at the same time.

Brown-tan head, gone in seconds, over brown-black beer. Nutty, brown candi sugar, bit smoked, smelling sweet. Dry coffee flavour intially, roasted, maybe again a bit nutty, and indeed, sweet, sugary. Very slick, syrupy feel, undercarbonated. Leather in the aftertaste. Too sweet by half. Thanks, M & L V.! 7/4/7/3/13
