Coarse nougat colored and persistent foam. It is brewed with 7 malt varieties and smells wonderful coffee and dark chocolate. The taste is most influenced by the coffee and black pepper, but it also has a taste of brown sugar, chocolate and caramelt. At the bottom of the palate you will find raisins and other dried fruits and a little vanilla. Gradation is high and tasting a hint of alcohol toward the end. The hops are composed of European and American hops and provides long and heavy aftertaste. It is a tasty and elegant imperial stout, but it sets no new standards for the type that you have not tasted before. Bule (2166) - California, USA - JUN 26, 2015
12oz bottle pours a thick black color without any head. Lots of molasses. It smooths out with some time to breath. Mild hops noticeable at the end.

Jet black in color with a nice brownish tan head. Notes of coffee, chocolate and heavy on the molasses. Light happiness and easy on the carbonation. One of the finest imperial stouts I’ve tried. I’ll be buying many more of these! Theydon_Bois (19559) - Hazlemere, the lower Xhitlerns, Buckinghamshire, ENGLAND - JUN 21, 2015
