Clear dark black color with a small, fizzy, virtually none lacing, fully diminishing head. Aroma is moderate to heavy malty, roasted, chocolate, coffee, dried fruit, prune, raisin. Flavour is light heavy sweet and bitter with a long duration, dark chocolate, dried fruit - raisin, prunes, dark malt. Body is medium to full, texture is oily, carbonation is flat, finish feel is light to moderate alcoholic.

Very dark brown beer, small chocolate coloured head. Rich dark malt nose with a promise of dark fruits and warming spirit. Smooth softish palate, semi dry. Rich dark malt and cream, A little dark chocolate and a touch of coffee. Whisper of red berry fruits underneath. Finishes semi dry with a tiny drop of honey. Light on it’s feet, delicious and drinkable.

(blue session). Black colour with a mediumsized beige head. Aroma is roasted malts, liquorice, coffee, mild tobacco as well as some ripe fruits. Flavour is quite similar in a very nice balance, and also a nice chocolaty edge in the aftertaste.
Bottle shared on the bus during RBWG 2015. Pours clear, black-brown with a foamy beige head. The nose holds lots of toasted dark malts, cocoa, leathery dark fruits. Medium sweet flavor with lots of scorched earth, baking cocoa, more dried and leathery dark fruits. Medium to full bodied with fine carbonation. Warming finish with notes of dark bread, chocolate, roast. Not bad.
