Tasted from bottle and compared against BA Dark App and BA Dark App with Vanilla and Coffee. Like it better than the regular BA but about the same as the vanilla and coffee. Pours black with light tan head. Aroma is caramel, bourbon, coffee, chocolate and you do get a little fruity port notes. Complex taste. Cherry and berry notes come through with bourbon, caramel, molasses, coffee, and chocolate. Excellent BA stout.

Shared at Superbowl party 2018. Super dark and chocolate rich in taste with this port thing going on. neongolden (2189) - Linköping, Sweden/Toronto, Ontario, CANADA - DEC 19, 2017
(375ml bottle sample @ Himmeriget, Copenhagen, Dec 15/17) Pours black with a small tan head. Notes of molasses, dark caramel, toasty wood, dark fruit, port wine, soft vanilla, low roast. Sweet up front, dark malts being amplified by the fruity wine tones, bourbon vanilla coming in more towards the back end. Finish is medium dry due to a bit of roast and rather prominent hot booze which was teased on the nose. Medium-bodied, slick, low carbonation. The barrel character was somewhat promising but the exposed alcohol undid the smoothing nature of the port barrel. Good, but not excellent. Desverger (14394) - Copenhagen, DENMARK - DEC 15, 2017

375 ml bottle to snifter (thanks alexsdad06). Looks good; an opaque jet black with fine fizzy darker beige head that slowly but steadily dissipates into lacing. Smells and tastes rich and robust with notes of dark chocolate, oak, vanilla, cherry, and a bit of port on the back end. Pleasantly warming. Mouthfeel is great! Full-bodied, viscous, and with a nice vinous port presence that's pleasant on the tongue. Excellent. drsordr (2984) - Loveland, Ohio, USA - SEP 15, 2017
Bottle shared by alexsdad06 pour opaque black with thin tan head. Nose fairly boozy but get both bourbon and port, red fruit, raisin. Taste vanilla smooth from bourbon, but also red fruit, prune or raisin, light chocolate. Late palate port, with some in the finish. Dogbrick (14458) - Columbus, Ohio, USA - SEP 14, 2017
Sample at the brewpub during the "Jackie O's Uptown Bottle Release" on 08/11/2017. Opaque brown-black color with a medium tan head that diminishes steadily to an outer ring. Small patches of lacing on the glass. The aroma consists of bourbon, roasted malt, coffee and chocolate. Full-bodied with flavors of oaky bourbon, fudge, charred malt, vanilla and dark fruit. The finish is oaky with a bourbon and chocolate malt aftertaste. Very good beer all around. phaleslu (11074) - Cincinnati, Ohio, USA - AUG 14, 2017
375 ml bottle via trade. Pours an opaque, deep, dark brown with a small dark tan head that settles into a ring, leaving a few spots of lace behind. Notes of vanilla, molasses, brown sugar, dark chocolate, fudge, oak, bourbon, port, roasted malts, dried and dark fruits, and candied nuts. The aroma favors the bourbon barrel and sweeter notes while the flavor ends with a big rush of port wine and vinous notes. Medium-bodied, with low to moderate carbonation and a sweet, rich, vinous mouthfeel. Massive aroma. Decadent.
