3.7 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 15/20
Draft sample at the brewpub. Pours dark brown with a small to medium beige head. The aroma is strong coffee, roast, and perhaps a touch of chocolate. The flavor is more big roasted coffee, hints of earthy and chocolate. The coffee is very strong. My only negative is that it is almost too much coffee for the body to pull off.

4.2 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 9/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 17/20
Sample at the brewpub. Dark brown pour with a medium khaki head that recedes steadily. Patchy lacing on the glass. Roasty coffee aroma with some malt in the background. Medium-bodied with a strong roasted coffee flavor with some chocolate malt undertones. The finish is mildly bitter with a lingering black coffee aftertaste. As a coffee lover I really enjoyed this one.

Draft. Poured dark brown color with medium brown fizzy head that mostly lasted with good lacing. Medium to heavy roasted coffee aroma. Medium to full body with a dry smooth texture and flat carbonation. Medium to heavy roasted dark coffee flavor with a medium to heavy dark sweet finish of moderate duration. My expectations where met.

3.7 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 14/20
Taster on tap at Jackie-O’s 7th. Clear dark brown color. Thin khaki head. Good lace. Huge, huge coffee nose. Smells more like coffee than how most coffee tastes. Light body. Dry texture. More bitter taste. Ridiculous stuff. Kopi Luwak in liquid form. Interesting one to try, I’ve never had a Kopi brew that was this light. Really allows it to smack you in the face.

Pint at the Jackie O’s 7th Anniversary Extravaganza. Pours black with a thick tan head. Aroma of malt, chocolate and coffee. Flavor is big time coffee, along with some chocolate and roast before a coffee finish.

3.9 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 16/20
Poured on draft. Pours a darker brown, nearing black, with a thin, brownish head of foam. The aroma has tons of coffee. You can barely make it past the coffee assault. Taste is all earthy, roasty coffee. Bitter finish.
