This has been on tap alot recently and for good reason. I think with rye you are either a fan or you are not, I am a fan as I think the rye gives a unique spice to the beer that you cant get with hops. It has very good bitterness to it the finish is lingering and the rye spice is very noticeable. When it is on draft it is one I always get.
A nice hoppy IPa. Not sweet but spicy. Decent carb rye grain and Light citrus and pine. Good balance of sweet/hop and rye. Nicely done for a rye ipa. sweet and grain spicy. ibrubeer (426) - Omaha, Nebraska, USA - NOV 5, 2017
UPDATED: NOV 5, 2017 Draft @ Hilton CMH. Light aroma, slightly sweet, straw. Dark yellow color with a white head that lasts quite a while, pretty good lacing. Flavor is slightly sweet and a touch spicy from the rye. Appropriate body. Overall a good IPA. Marheb (6334) - Montréal, Quebec, CANADA - OCT 26, 2017
(En fût à la source): Des agrumes fondantes avec un modéré enrobage tropical. La finale est sèche et presque engourdissante. Solide. ganache (6089) - New Jersey, USA - AUG 11, 2017
Can from VE, rating #111 for this beer. Nose of pine, rye, earth. Pour clear, slightly pale, slightly burnished golden with below-average carbonation and a foamy-rocky white head. Watery light-medium body, astringent, medium bitterness, very dry; highlights of rye over earth and dark caramel, on second thought, much higher levels of rye. Light citrus, minimal malt, low resin but still strips the palate utterly clean. Composed and well-executed, but I don’t much like the results. 12oz can from Vintage Estate. Lighter than ipa pour. White head with streaky lace. Aroma has citrus, tangy fruits, light malt. Taste is of sweet and spicy rye malts, some grapefruit and other citrus. A bit subtle. Lighter than medium bodied, the blend is fine and there is little alcohol presence. Finishes quite a bit sweeter than bittersweet. A solid rye-ipa. 13.4

Dark orange pour bordering on red, hazy, inch of fluffy white head. Juicy citrus aroma, orange and tangerine, rye adds a nice spicy essence. Soft carbonation, thinner mouthfeel, dry finish. The rye attributes blend nicely and add spiciness to tangerine grapefruit and pine hops. Really nice rye IPA.

Pours a golden opaque yellow. Danny lemon aroma. Light body. Easy drinking but lacks the hoppyness of an IPA.

Canned. Pours a slightly hazy golden beer with a medium sized white head on top. Aroma is strong on the rye characters, lots of grapefruits, grassy and leafy hops and very full. Flavor has lots of bittering hops, lots earthy rye influences, strong bitter grapefruit and very full flavored and has a longlasting, bitter aftertaste. Really refreshing, great balance and a very nice IPA. Great stuff. italianjohn (3311) - Penndel, Pennsylvania, USA - MAR 5, 2017
