Sample at the brewpub. This brew is a clear pale golden color with a medium ivory white head that dissipates quickly. Spotty lacing on the glass. Aroma of peppery hops, yeast and earthy malt. Medium body with a moderately bitter hops character and flavors of spices and yeast behind it. Light malt is present as well. The finish is hoppy with a sweet yeast undertone. Interesting and pretty good overall. bgburdman9 (861) - columbus, Ohio, USA - MAR 29, 2009
Tried this one awhile ago. Was excited for this one. I think it was their first non-sour belgian style that i have tried. Poured light with an average head. Aroma had a little bit of citrus and clove. It seemed to have a pretty good hop presence. Flavor was pretty dry and had a nice light belgian flavor and bitterness.
