Draft - pine-y. A ton of flavor and taste for 5%. Impressive. Quite bitter. I am favorable to this mixture of water, earth, air and fire. phaleslu (10329) - Cincinnati, Ohio, USA - DEC 9, 2014
Draft on the Brewpub side at Jackie-O’s, served in a tasting glass. Pours a clear pale gold color with a small white head. Aroma of lemon and tropical fruits, florals, straw, grass, husky grains, and cheesecloth. Flavor of cracker, florals, lemon, spice, straw, grass, and apricot. Light-bodied, with moderate carbonation and a clean mouthfeel that gets more citrusy and bitter on the finish. Very nice pale ale. jsquire (4522) - St. Marys, Ohio, USA - NOV 22, 2014

UPDATED: DEC 16, 2013 Draft. Lightly hazed pale gold with a short white head. Tropical fruit gum / gummy candy, sweet onion and some cheese must / cheese rind comes out after it warms and breathes. Lean, light, dry body with just enough savoriness and softness to hold up across the middle and back. Lots of oily hop acids and peach / apricot fuzz. My second pint at Lizardville was this excellent sessionable pale ale. Normally when I think of Jackie O’s I think of sours and big beers. This one is completely opposite in almost all ways. Assuming there are future batches it is worth a tick.
Aroma / Appearance - A coppery carbonated base fills the glass with a glowing charm. A delicate head is all that remains after a few minutes. Grass, polished gold, and lemony textures sweeten the air like a glass of lemonade after mowing the lawn. The hop base supports everything without being bland.
Flavor / Palate - Lemons, grainy malts, and a warm tang fills the mouth with fluid bitterness. Earthy lemonade transitions into a resiny oak finish. Tasting like drops of weeping tree sap it has a pleasant feel. I need to get my hands on a few Tired Hands beers at some point.
Draft pour. Pours a translucent gold with a white head of foam. Fruity, citrusy, hoppy. Bitter and fruity. Light body. Easy drinking. drsordr (2736) - Loveland, Ohio, USA - OCT 13, 2013
Draft pours clear golden. Nose sweet malt and mango hop. Taste lemon, citrus, faint sweet malt mid palate. Bitter finish.
