Bottle courtesy of my buddy In Ohio. Cheers! Pours a clear yellow with a dissipating white head. Nose is sweet malt, earthy yeast, lacto, and some light lemony citrus. Flavor is similar with light malt, sweet citrus, yeasty funk and lacto tartness. Light in body and lingering tartness.

Poured a hazy yellow with a white head. Aroma was grainy, lemony, light mineralogy. Flavor similar, a tad disjointed but still pretty tasty.

Sample at the brewpub during Jackie O’s 10th Anniversary Extravaganza on 12/04/2015. Hazy straw-gold color with a medium white head that diminishes steadily to a film. Stringy lacing on the glass. Aroma of citrus, yeast and malt. Light-bodied with flavors of herbal yeast, citrus and doughy malt. The finish is mildly tart with a fruity aftertaste. Pretty good overall.

Draft at the Public House for the 10th Anniversary party, served in a small glass. Pours a cloudy gold-yellow color with a white head that settles into a tiny ring. It’s a little briny, with lemon, lime, oak, grass, dry grains, and mild spice. Light-bodied, with moderate carbonation and an acetic, mildly sour mouthfeel. Simple and really nice and refreshing.

Draft sample at the source. The beer is a moderately hazy hellow color with a white bead of foam. The aroma has moderate funk and a bit of sweet, herbal notes. Medium tartness and medium bitterness. Lighter to medium body with medium to high carbonation. Good stuff.

5oz on tap at the brewery. Nice citrusy, kind of peppery character up front. Hazy golden color, with virtually no head. Satisfying mild to moderate sour taste, lighter sweet (kinda dry), moderate bitterness. Medium-plus body. Kind of soft, lighter carbonation. Mild slick texture. A solid, kinda sour saison.
