On draught at Daily Growler. The beer pours a hazy orange color with a medium foamy off-white head that diminishes slowly. Patchy lacing on the glass. Aroma of floral hops, citrus and malt. Medium to full body with flavors of herbal hops, citrus and toasted malt. The finish is dry and moderately bitter with a lingering hoppy aftertaste. Well-executed Columbus showcase beer. alexsdad06 (10262) - Cincinnati, Ohio, USA - APR 28, 2013
Draft at Dutch’s. Pours a clear golden color with a medium sized off white head. The aroma is dank and earthy hops with hints of citrus and resin and a toasted malt backbone that is mostly hidden. The hops are quite assertive; dank resiny hops with quite a bit of earthy hops as well. Some caramel and toasted malts come through. There is a lasting bitterness long through the finish. This was very tasty and a real treat to get in Cincinnati.

Draft sample at the Public House. Pours a hazy gold color with a small white head. The aroma isn’t particularly strong, but the flavor is profound and pronounced: citrus peel, straw, fresh-cut grass, herbs, pepper. The citrus peel bitterness gets increasingly strong on the finish and lingers for a while. Light-bodied, with a dry, bitter mouthfeel and low carbonation. Really unique IPA. On tap at Dutch’s... Multiple servings throughout the weekend... Mostly hazy orange amber color. Thin white head, leaves good rows of even lace. Very bitter taste. Every one of the 130 IBUs are in full force here, this is a true palate wrecker. Incredibly assertive, bitter, and hoppy. Bigger body. Lighter carbonation. Dry in the finish. Super, super dank hop aroma. Pine, resin, some citrus. Like what I’d expect chewing on a hop cone to taste like. A hop burn that lasts long into the aftertaste, continuously buzzing pleasantly on the palate long after each sip. 2 pounds of hop per each half-barrel keg is a wonderful mental image, and that’s easy to see in the taste. Awesome, powerfully hoppy DIPA b3shine (8795) - Indiana, USA - APR 21, 2013
Draft to snifter at Dutch’s. Looks good; a semi-transparent deep orange with fluffy off-white head. Smells good too; Columbus hops with a sweet backbone. Tastes like it smells with a nice, super-hoppy mouthfeel. A great single-hopped beer! JaBier (7806) - Capital City, Ohio, USA - JUN 4, 2013
Sample at Jackie O’s on 4/21/13. Pours a clear gold color with a medium off-white head. Malty nose with notes of lemon, grapefruit, pepper and pine. Malty and piney flavor with a big, bitter grapefruit peel finish. FROTHINGSLOSH (7670) - GREENSBURG, Pennsylvania, USA - MAY 6, 2013
Sampled on draft this beer poured a dark orange-apricot color with a medium sized soapy white head that left good lacing. The aroma was sweet and tangy candied fruits - pineapple and grapefruit. The flavor was tangy and sweet sugar, pineapple, grapefruit and faint tropical fruits. Turns a bit dry on the long hoppy finish. Moderately full bodied. Nice.
