Hazy amber beer. Softish palate, a little dry. Light carbonation. Rich grapefruit marmalade. Aniseed - licorice spice and subtle sweet peach and fresh orange. Finishes dry but then has a bitter spicy aftertaste. Very drinkable DIPA.
On tap @ Hops & Pie. Hazed golden pour with a white head. Sweet caramel and tropical fruit notes. Pine, pineapple, and grapefruit. A hint of chalk, too. Flavor is sweet pineapple and citrus up front. On tap at Hops and Pie poured a clear orange amber with a lasting amber head. Aromas of bread, earthiness, grapefruit, peach and light melon. Palate was medium bodied and smooth with a dry finish. Bottle shared by alexsdad06. Poured clear copper color with an average off-white frothy head that was mostly lasting with fair lacing. Moderate to heavy earthy hop aroma. Medium body with a slick texture and soft carbonation. Medium to heavy bitter flavor with a medium to heavy smooth biitersweet finish of moderate to long duration. Solid drinkable beer.

Draft at Jackie O’s Brewpub, 7/14/14. Pours a clear copper color with a medium sized creamy off-white head. Good head retention. Aroma of citrus, herbal hops, candied citrus. Sample at the Eurostash II tasting on 12/12/09: Thanks to JaBier for sharing bottle #35/156. The beer pours a clear amber-orange color with a medium thin and fluffy off-white head that diminishes slowly. Rings of lacing on the glass. Grapefruit and hops aroma. Medium body with a moderately bitter hops character and flavors of citrus, pine and caramel malt. The finish is piney with a lingering hops aftertaste. Thanks boltz! Gold pour. White head. Juicy resinous and spicy hop aroma. Some nice tropical fruit aroma too. Pine and spicy hop flavor. Nice soapy bitterness.
