COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
This is that big sticky hop elixir that I have always wanted to brew. Columbus and Warrior hops lend an assertive bitterness. Amarillo, Simcoe, and Centennial hops give this beer tons of great flavors of grapefruit, tangerines, and pine needles. A big dry hop addition of Amarillo and Simcoe give Mystic Mama a nose to stand up to the flavor. Soon to be a year round addition.

A west coast styled IPA that uses 5 different hops (Centennial, Amarillo, Warrior, Simcoe, Columbus) giving it tons of flavor, aroma, and an assertive bitterness. 7% abv with the ability to get you hop trigger firing!

Tap at Choice City. Clear gold pour with a white head. Pine and citrus, lively carbonation and bright hop bite. Good stuff.

Draft at Cork City. Mostly clear gold, nice white head and frothy lace. Resiny hop, some pine, citrus rind, and a little vegetation. Drinks fairly bitter. Nice mouthfeel, moderate carbonation.

12oz can from Vintage Estate in Boardman - the place for all things Jackie O. Lighter than IPA pour. Off-white head with coats of lace. Nice citrus tangy tropical fruit nose. Tangy taste with tropical and citrus fruits. Quite bittersweet and tangy. Solid tangy and tasty. 14.2

Nice beer. Well balanced with a crisp finish. Light on aroma, but I’m fine with that. Also good hop flavor without too much citrus. Also not as oily like some IPAs, which in my view is a plus.

Can from Chris, thank you so much. Dated 5.17. and consumed 6.01. Clear gold. Clean hops, low bitterness. The hops are green with some fruitiness. It mostly green grass in flavor, which is super dull for me.

This canned brew from a bottle shop was served at a cool temperature and poured a medium sized head of foamy finely sized white colored bubbles that were long lasting and left behind a typically carbonated body transparent yellow orange colored body and a thick foamy lacing. The weak aroma was malt hop. The mouth feel was tingly at the start and at the finish with a mellow citrus aftertaste. The ok flavor contained notes of mild citrus and hops. An OK brew just nothing special.

Can dated 3/29 from 6er a few weeks ago (followed by the other 5, and soon another 6er). They mentioned in a blog entry that they’ve updated the recipe, and based on my previous (unrated) experience it shows. Clear pale pour, nice head, good retention and lacing. Aroma is big, fresh, and driven by citrusy hop profile. Taste is reasonably dry, moderately bitter. Medium body, average carbonation, oily texture. So quaffable. I’ve had a hard time savoring this one because my glass empties too fast. Were I sticking around longer, this would be a mainstay in my fridge.
