Very slightly hazy bright gold with its own inner light, and a thin sticky white cap. Big leafy and earthy dank nose with a light bit of pine resin and bright pale malt. Big flavor that’s dark pale malt and big leafy/pithy/resiny hop bitterness. Reminiscent of Deviant Dales with its resiny big leafy bitterness and slightly boozy pale malt body. Big stern bitter IPA PorterPounder (8356) - Tallahassee, Florida, USA - SEP 28, 2016
Boardman, Oh - Vintage Estate Wine and Beer - 12 oz can. Slightly hazy light golden with a solidly thick snow white head, Aroma has some topical fruitiness, a touch of spruce. Nice bitter flavor, some grapefruit citrus, a touch of pineapple, a touch of spearmint. Decently thick mouthfeel but turns a bit metallic in the finish. Clear gold pour with a white head. Nuce lacing. Aroma is dank, pine, citrus rind, and tropical fruit. Taste is citrus zest, tropical, dank, and pine. Lingering piney grapefruity aftertaste. Clean bitterness. Dry finish. Light body. johnnnniee (4457) - Bedford, New Hampshire, USA - JUL 18, 2016
Can from Bayshore Beverage Sandusky.
Mostly clear deep yellow with a good sized bubbly white head that persists. Tangerine apricot pine and grapefruit rule the nose with a sweet bready malt deep underneath. The flavor is more pine and grapefruit than anything else. Bitter resinous drips off your tongue long after each sip. Bold tasty bitter IPA. guzzler67 (1696) - Hanover, Maryland, USA - JUL 2, 2016
Hazy, golden appearance with a large white head and good lacing. Initial aroma of pineapple evolved into a broader spectrum of citrusy syllables. Hop dominated flavors focused on a piney theme although there are hints of spice in the aftertaste. Medium bodied, nicely carbonated mouthfeel leading to an average length finish. Thanks, Bert! rondphoto (4508) - Lakeside Park, Kentucky, USA - JUN 30, 2016
On tap @ Ei8ht Ball / Bellevue KY --- Aroma of rich musty malt. Clear light amber, white head that drops to a cover, sheets of lace. Taste is rich musty malt (just like the aroma). Pine hops arrive at the same time as edgy carbonation. Hops easily conquer the long finish. Big and bold, but still only good, not great. dmac (6573) - Toms River, New Jersey, USA - JUN 24, 2016
12oz can from The Grateful Ed. Poured a medium density bright copper body with an average sized white fluffy head. Aroma/flavor of tropical fruit, dank weed, rotting old orange marmalade topped bread. Medium to slightly fuller body, softer to average carbonation and a dry finish. Solid beer.
