On tap on the pub side, pours a slightly hazey golden pale with a thin white bubbly head. Aroma is spicy Belgian yeast and some citrus character. First flavor i notice is lemon and there is wheat malt and other spicy euro malt all balanced by the Belgian yeast character. Overall this is a very drinkable and smooth Belgian beer with some local Athens twang which is classic jackieos.

Poured on draft at Jackie-O’s. Pours a lighter copper color with a nice white head of foam. The aroma is herbal and citrusy. Must be the lemon verbena coming through. Taste is very well balanced between sweet and herbal. Another very good beer. JaBier (8178) - Capital City, Ohio, USA - SEP 10, 2012
Sample on the Public House side on 9/8/12. Clear gold pour with a medium off-white head. Aroma of banana, spice/herbs and pepper. Big herbal flavor with malt, banana and spice before a slightly citrusy finish.
