12 ounce can gifted by Chris. Dated August 3rd 2016, which is gosh darn fresh, awesome job Chris. Now, I know that the name Ohio pale ale doesn’t sound very appetizing, which may explain the low ratings, ut it’s pretty damn decent beer. Pours yellow a small head that kind of last around for a while. Aroma is mild beer with very understareted hoppiness - a little green, a little grass, and even a little fruit. nice mix. Flavor is again pretty mild and lightly hoppy it’s like a light golden ale with a hop character that’s not offending but yet very distinct and fun. Short finish and almost no bitterness to speak up pretty damn quaffable if you ask me. This really is a hoppy golden ale and not a pale ale.

Draft to taster at Jungle Jim pour light yellow with thin white head. Nose seems off, slight skunky, crystal malt, and light dank hop. Taste some grassy hop, then again, some light funk, like a generic pale lager. Maybe a bad sample, or a miss from otherwise strong brewery.

On tap at Local Cantina in Clintonville: gold pour with white head. hoppy, floral, dank aroma. tastes are pine, grass, soapy. good, straightforward.

Draft. Poured a clear copper color with an average frothy off-white head that mostly lasted with excellent lacing. Moderate west coast hop and small malt aroma. Medium body with a slick texture and soft carbonation. Medium bittersweet flavor with a medium bittersweet finish of moderate duration. Solid beer.

Sheerbrewing (117) - Athens-Columbus, Ohio, USA - JUN 15, 2012
Aroma is citrusy and has a distinctive and unique hop scent. Left a nice lace behind. You can really taste the hops in this pale ale very citrusy just like the aroma suggests. Overall pretty solid beer from this nice little craft brewery.
