I’ve never had a Paw Paw fruit and don’t think I want to try another one.
Bottle at home with jcnielsen. Pours a hazy yellow orange appearance with an off white head. Aroma has funk, guava, lime, and citrus fruit. A little chewy and bready. Slightly twangy. Ehh, pass. willisread (3554) - Nashville, Tennessee, USA - DEC 22, 2016
Bottle shared. Pours a slightly hazy gold with a finger of foam. Big honey forward nose. Sweet on the palate. Lots of paw paw fruit, grainy wheat. Light fruity dry finish. Very well done. bytemesis (8989) - Sunnyvale, California, USA - JUL 6, 2016
Bottle. Pours hazy golden orange, small off white head, decent lacing. Angela a bit like a latrine, unpleasant, over ripe fruit. Taste better, light sweet, light bitter, fruity, a bit off, acrid finish. Light body. Vegetal bitterness. Ummm. MrHangover (4693) - Den Haag, NETHERLANDS - JUL 2, 2016
Bottle. Pours a slightly hazy golden beer with a big white head on top. Aroma is very fruity, tropical, pineapple and lemon notes. Flavor is a bit tarty, light acidic, some fruity notes again with a sweeter malty background. Decent carbonation, a bit one-sided, but decent.

375mL bottled 2014, bonus from JStax, drunk 12/10/15.Advocate_Ames (635) - Steubenville, Ohio, USA - NOV 9, 2015
Moderate haziness and bright copper tints creating a glowing peach colored body that is topped by a medium-sized, off-white head that recedes steadily to ring.
Earthy, melon-rind-like notes are prominent and as odd as that sounds, it’s not entirely unwelcome. Light peach and apricot esters, with a touch of alcohol and peppery phenols. Canteloupe, light vanilla and marmalade. Not intensely aromatic, by any means, but it’s quite enjoyable and the peach and other alcohol notes are minimal and well-integrated.
Round, lightly boozey, heavily fruity and slightly oxidized in the mouth. Nicely extracted malts lend a soft texture with chewiness provided by the wheat. Heavily peppery phenols build up and climax in a rather alcoholic, peach-laden, estery finish. Vanilla, dry graham crackers and very light melon linger. Good attenuation, though still a bit sweet at points. Tight carbonation really saves the beer.
Very bizarre wheat beer that really seems to have no business being 9% abv. That or it just hasn’t aged all that well, though that’s odd for an unfiltered wheat beer of this size.
Pours golden with a small and dissipating foam head. The aroma is of sweet tropical mango fruit, wheat and malted grains, with a very soft funky yeast scent. Tasting is of grains, a sharp sweetness, mango, noticeable melon fruit, and a strong undertone of booze. The finish is a fruity wheat beer with a boozy semi dry finish. I would say this delivers. I enjoyed how well the fruit flavors shined through. Overall the fruit and the wheat compliment each other nicely but the booze takes over more than I’d like. 375ml bottle from trade on HBT. Drank after work with Tom and Brian. Pours a hazy yellow color with a thin fizzy white head. Aroma of sweet fruit (paw paw I’m assuming), wheat, light funk vinegar, yeast, and lemon. Taste of grassy bitterness, grain, wheat, sweet fruitiness, banana, and light Belgian notes. trapped (3484) - New York, TURKEY - OCT 20, 2015
Bottle thanks to Jsquire. Pours slightly cloudy bright yellow with large foamy off-white head, tropical fruit and citrus aroma, high carbonation, fruity tadte with strong alcohol undertones, sticky sweet long finish with alcohol aftertaste. The alcohol content is too prominent.
