Bottle... Pours hazy and amber with dirty-orange highlights and a small, creamy, white head. The aroma is fruity, but it’s not undeniably raspberry. A bit citric and perfumey as well. Medium-bodied with faint carbonation. The flavor is tart and fruity – lemony and citric. Lengthy finish with lingering tartness and a tongue-numbing effect. I like this. 650 mL bottle. Deep amber and clear body. Medium white head. Raspberry aroma, but not a really fresh or juicy raspberry. Some malt and yeastiness. Taste has a lot of toasted malt and wheat. Raspberry sourness that again has very little freshness. Kinda musty and not very pleasant. Medium body. Well carbonated. Some strange flavors going on here. Sample at the brewpub during the Bottle Release on 08/28/2015. Hazy reddish-amber color with a thin white head that recedes steadily to a film. Short strings of lacing. Aroma of berries, herbal yeast and malt. Light to medium body with a tart raspberry character and notes of herbal wheat and yeast. The finish is moderately sour with a lingering raspberry aftertaste. Good Berliner all around. phaleslu (10103) - Cincinnati, Ohio, USA - SEP 1, 2015
Draft at the Public House, the same weekend this was first released in bottles. Pours a cloudy dark pinkish tea color with a small off-white head that settles into a half ring while leaving a few wisps of film. The raspberries are up front in this, fresh and tart and sweet, with lemon, herbs, grass, and straw. Light-bodied, with moderate carbonation and a dry, tart, fruity mouthfeel. Very solid. Nothing dominates despite the raspberry presence, and it’s surprisingly herbal. JaBier (7871) - Capital City, Ohio, USA - MAR 16, 2013
Sample at the bottle sale on 3/2/13. Clear rose amber color with no head. Aroma consisting of lemon juice, raspberry and funk. Flavor starts with pepper, turning quickly to lemon juice, raspberry and bread before a sour finish.

UPDATED: SEP 26, 2015 Taster on tap at the brewpub. Dark red / orange color. Half - hazy, no head. Tart raspberry evident in the nose. Nice moderate sour raspberry flavor. Medium body. Light, crisp carbonation. Nice raspberry flavor. Great berliner weisse. Very refreshing. 7/2/7/4/14 pantanap (3366) - Chicago, Illinois, USA - JUL 19, 2012
Re-rate 9/26/2015 from a 22oz bottle. Shared with jstax, robotopera, callipalegic. Bottle is a slight low fill. Bottle 42/360. Batch 8/15. Clear red orange color. Thin off-white head. Some decent bits of lace, for a berliner weisse. Wonderful lactic cream and nice bigger raspberry, good kind of natural puckering raspberry tartness along with the berliner type sourness. Moderate to bigger sour taste, light sweet, mild dry. Lighter to medium body. Awesome raspberry berliner.
Jackie o’s raspberry Berliner. Growler fill... Thanks to Josh for
sending these by... Hazy pink ruby red grapefruit and topped with a
thin soapy white head... Aroma of rasperries with a nice sour lactic
kick. Light grain on the backend... Flavors are more of the same with
a prominent raspberry component. Excellent level of lactic sourness.
Light bodied, extremely refreshing. Splendid fruity rendition on the style.

Draft. Poured reddish amber color with a mostly lasting off-white head with fair lacing. Moderate tart berry aroma. Medium body with a smooth texture and soft carbonation. Medium berry sweet flavor with a medium sweet & sour finish of moderate duration. Interesting beer. drewbeerme (3920) - Chicago, Illinois, USA - JUL 1, 2012
Growler thanks Kan. Pours hazy grapefruit red with white head. Aroma big raspberries, wild lactic character, seedy finish. Flavors of raspberries, tart berry, seedy, some sweet melon character while lactic tartness finishes and quinches thirst. Aroma reminds me of Hommage. Really tasty beer. Poured on draft. This has a nice pink color, kinda like the color of pink grapefruit juice with a white head of foam. Cool color. Aroma is just tart red raspberries with some slight bready, caky, wheaty notes hidden beneath the surface. Taste is initially fresh picked red raspberries that moves on to a slightly sour note that becomes more intense as it works its way to the finish. Finishes dry and sour with a lingering puckering finish like you would get from biting into a crabapple. Fantastic beer!
