40% white wheat and 60% malted two row create a nice subtle wheat ale. 420lbs of all natural raspberry puree is added during fermentation giving this beer a unique and playful personality. The rosy haze and sticky head embody a continuum of sour sweetness held together by a wheat back bone.

On draft at Jackie O’s.

Reddish pink in color and it has a big aroma dominated by.. raspberry... obviously. Flavor is a citrus/raspberry mix that starts off sweet and ends in a tart crisp finish. A very good fruit beer. I can see why so many people in the pub were drinking this.

Draft at source. Pink pour small white head. Huge raspberryband fruit nose. Taste follows but a touch thin. Slightly grainy. Ok.

12 ounce can into pint glass, canned on 10/10/2016. Pours very hazy pinkish golden/orange color with a 1-2 finger fairly dense off white head with good retention, that reduces to a thin cap that lingers. Light spotty soapy lacing clings on the glass, with a moderate amount of streaming carbonation. Good appearance. Aromas of lightly tart raspberry, pear, apple, wheat, cracker, and biscuit; with lighter notes of banana, bubblegum, clove, pepper, herbal, floral, grass, and yeast/toasted earthiness. Nice and pleasant aromas with good balance of pale malt, fruit, and light earthy hop/fruity yeast notes; with solid strength. Taste of lightly tart raspberry, pear, apple, wheat, cracker, and biscuit; with lighter notes of banana, bubblegum, clove, pepper, honey, herbal, floral, grass, and yeast/toasted earthiness. Light-moderate yeast spiciness and light herbal bitterness on the finish; with lingering notes of raspberry, pear, apple, wheat, cracker, biscuit, pepper, clove, light banana/bubblegum, and herbal/yeast earthiness on the finish for a good bit. Nice robustness and balance of pale malt, fruit, and light-moderate earthy hop/fruity yeast flavors; with a good malt/tart/spiciness balance, and slight lingering astringency after the finish. Light-moderate dryness from bitter/spiciness, increasing through the glass. Medium carbonation and light-medium body; with a very smooth, crisp, and fairly creamy/grainy/sticky balanced mouthfeel that is good. A bit thin on body. Zero warming alcohol as expected of 5.5%. Overall this is a good fruited American pale wheat ale. All around good robustness and balance of pale malt, fruit, and light-moderate earthy hop/fruity yeast flavors; very smooth, crisp, clean, and refreshing to drink. A little too oddly spicy/drying with slight lingering astringency; but still very drinkable and nicely enjoyable for the style.

Hazy pinkish gold pour with a white head that quickly fades to a ring. Aroma is raspberry candy, grains, and some citrus. Taste is lightly tart raspberry, grainy, and slightly medicinal. Light body.

Can from whole foods because it’s damned hard to find singles around here. Following on a couple of double IPAs so my palate is good and primed. Amberish pour, ample head, good retention. Razz wheat sounds right, but heavy on the wheat/light-easy-drinker side minus any hefe banana and clove stuff. Also light on the razz. But whatever, it is what it is. Fine beer for bbqs, or to follow a couple of big ipas at the end of the night.

on tap @ Vino Bellissimo / Lima OH --- Cloudy light / medium amber color, white head that sinks to a full cover, heavy bands of lace. Taste is somewhat bitter malt (is there really wheat here?) that has, at most, a hint of raspberry as it moves to a short finish. I read other reviews, but the raspberry they are so certain about simply isn’t here in my glass. This does work okay for drinking, but isn’t my conception of a wheat beer (and, especially, a fruit beer).

FROTHINGSLOSH (7796) - GREENSBURG, Pennsylvania, USA - DEC 17, 2015
Sampled from a 12 oz can this beer poured a dark bronze color with a large creamy-soapy white head that left good lacing. The aroma was tangy, sweetish and had a vague berry note. The flavor was tart and tangy with faint bread, a touch of phenol, and faint vague berry. Medium length finish that turns dry. Medium body. Disappointing.

12 oz. can. Poured light amber. Flavor is sweet raspberry flavor, wheat. Good for a sunny day. Not bad for what it is.

Nephilium (1820) - Cleveland, Ohio, USA - AUG 20, 2015
Slight aroma of raspberries and wheat. Pours a muddy pinkish amber with a full white head. There’s a nice touch of raspberry flavor bringing some tartness to balance out the sweetness of the wheat. Finish is a bit bitter, with a touch of fruit. Not a bad summer beer, but there’s a lot better options out there.

UPDATED: AUG 6, 2015 12 oz can in Dublin Ohio. Orange Amber color with a hint of red and a decent head. Pronounced and appealing raspberry aroma with some pancakes in the background. Much more wheat and other grain flavor upon tasting. The raspberry is still obvious but in good balance. O: excellent for style.

arminjewell (9676) - East Lansing, Michigan, USA - JUL 30, 2015
Pour out of 12 oz can, clear reddish pink pour with thin white head, aroma brought notes of bread, biscuit, slight fruit, raspberry, vanilla into some spice. Taste was a mix of vanilla, spice, slight raspberry into some bread, dough, finishing slightly sweet, some grass.
