Draft (notes from early 2011). Pours a slightly hazy golden color with a medium sized white head. The aroma had pale malts, grassy, with some mild citrus hops. The flavor had bready pale malts, grass, light citrus, with moderate bitterness to the finish. Decent enough for a 3.8 beer.

This poured a golden yellow color with a white head. Aroma was light centennial hops and not much else besides light 2 row malt. Flavor was medium amount of bitterness and fruity, a bit metalic, but all in all one dimensional and watery but I guess most single hop session pale ales are. Sample at the Jackie O’s Bottle Sale/ Stout and Big Beer Fest on 02/05/2011. The beer pours a clear pale orange color with a medium thin off-white head that diminishes quickly. Stringy lacing. Aroma of citrus and grainy malt. Medium body with flavors of citrus, grassy hops and malt, with a slight copper penny tinge behind it. The finish is short and citrusy. Decent overall. ucusty (2691) - raleigh, North Carolina, USA - FEB 10, 2011
On tap at the 2/5 release. Clean orange pour with a fluffy white head. Aroma is waxy lemon zest, grains, and light tropical fruit. Flavor follows suite. Cant wait to smuggle a few growlers of this back to enjoy in the sweltering NC heat. Hopefully it’ll be back when Im back MrChopin (4304) - Baltimore, Maryland, USA - FEB 6, 2011
On tap at 2/5 release. Transparent gold, wispy white head. Fresh centennial soap and grainy nose, bit overly soapy but nice mango in back. Flat grainy flavor, bit metallic and papery, really soapy with warmth, light orange candy sweetness following. Overcarbonated, very dry body. Meh, nose was promising but flavor and body don’t mix.

On tap at the brewpub on 1/13/11. Clear gold pour with a thin white head. Dank malt nose with a bit of corny essence and some grassy hops. Light malt flavor with grassy hops and a bit of citrus in the finish. Pretty solid for a 3.8% beer and a pretty good choice for guy who gets to drive the hour and a half back home.
