Draft in a sampler on the Public House side. Pours a deep, hazy amber with a small but lasting beige head. Notes of brown sugar, pecan, caramel, dry cereal malts, mellow spices, and dates. Sample on tap at the brewpub. Dark brown red color, good light tan head, excellent, even lace. Lighter smooth carbonation. Dry finish, good long light bittersweet aftertaste. Interesting brew. Lots of lace. Rich chocolate nutty aroma, that has a weird kind of acidic bite. Bit spicy. Might be better enjoyed during the spring time, and instead of this blistering hot summer day
