Pours a moderate reddish-brown color with a good tan head and a slight amount of lacing on the way down. The nose brings forward some subtle oak character and sweet malted plus some mild fruits. Caramel and bread there as well. The taste is quite bready with some caramel sweetness and a nice touch of oak in the background. Good full body with a bit of oak tannin that helps round out the brew. Nice and drinkable. Love how there are so many new offerings each time I stop by.

UPDATED: JUL 20, 2010 Sample at Jackie O’s as part of Ohio Brew Week. This brew is a clear reddish-amber color with a medium off-white head that recedes steadily. Thin rings of lacing. Caramel malt aroma with some dark fruity notes. Medium body with a strong malt base and flavors of caramel, dark fruit and chocolate. Draft at Jackie O-s during Fifth Anniversary party from notes. Pours a slightly hazy reddish amber color with a small off white head. The aroma and flavor had toasted grainy and biscuity malts, caramel, hints of fruits, earthy hops, the oak is present through the finish.

Had this one on tap during brew week. I thought this one was pretty solid. It was pretty easy to drink and had a solid malty, caramel, and light roastiness to it. Solid beer.
