Draft at the Jackie O’s Public House, 7/13/14. Pours a clear copper with a medium sized creamy off-white head. Good head retention. Aroma of citrus, tropical fruit, candied citrus, bready wheat malt, a hint of yeast. The taste is green apple, pine, resin, citrus, wheat. Medium bodied, moderate lingering bitterness, slight booze, refreshing. Tmoney99 (14599) - Cincinnati, Ohio, USA - JUL 28, 2014
Draft at OBW. Poured hazy copper color with an average frothy off-white head that was mostly lasting with good lacing. Solid smooth lemon resin hop and small wheat aroma. Medium body with a smooth texture with soft carbonation. Medium bittersweet flavor with a medium bittersweet finish of moderate duration. Solid drinkable brew, phaleslu (10323) - Cincinnati, Ohio, USA - JUL 16, 2014
Draft at the Public House during the opening weekend of Ohio Brew Week. Pours a clear, bright gold with a small white head that laces the glass. Notes of wheat, tropical and citrus fruits, sweet and caramel malts, and some faint pine and spice. Light-bodied, with moderate carbonation and a sweet, smooth mouthfeel. Wheat ale? IPA? It’s good. madvike (3271) - Middleton, Wisconsin, USA - JUL 15, 2012
On tap at the brewpub - Pours clear amber with a thin ring of white head. Nose is light citrus hops, tropical fruit, and light bread. Taste is juicier, with lots of tropical fruit and light cracker malt. Smooth carbonation and a medium-body. TheAlum (7164) - Aurora, Illinois, USA - JUL 8, 2012
Sampler flight on tap at the brewpub (Athens, OH). Pours a richly golden orange hue, fiery sunset body and edges with gentle haze, a frothy offwhite head atop dies to a filmy ring, laces ok. Nice colors. Aromas are flaked wheat and citrus, firm dry bitter florals, grass. Some grapefruit, lemons, hitting some dry hoppy elements. Initial is lighter end of the fold giving some firm bitterness, lemons and florals give good life. Grapefruit, flowers, a touch dank. Middle is a touch sweet but the hop melange grows firmly. Dry and bitter, grapefruit, dandelions and florals, grass as a firm bitterness stays into the backend and finish. Pretty solid, some flaked wheat, bready malts keep the beer honest but the hop profile really slowly builds into a firmly bitter beer that’s still quite drinkable en masse. Good flavors and fuzzy peach, some melon, and richer grapefruit presence really comes along.

Sample on tap at the brewpub. Mildly hazy amber color. Little white head, faded to minimal after a bit. Hoppy wheaty dark bread aroma, spices and herbs. Light crisp carbonation, dry finish. Zesty sweet and tart taste.

A mild hop aroma with a wheat sweetness. App is fairly hazy with a smallish head. Taste is of mild grassy hops with a sweetness that is not of caramelized malts which is interesting. Beerman6686 (6607) - Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, USA - JUL 13, 2011
This poured a bright dark yellow color with a white head. Aroma was a decent amount of somewhat subtle citrusy hops wheat some nice yeasty wheat notes too. Flavor was a good blend of orange peel, orange and light clementines. Good refreshing stuff. Thorpe429 (5035) - , Illinois, USA - JUL 6, 2011
On tap at Jackie O’s last weekend. Interesting that the other reviewers haven’t enjoyed this beer, as I thought it was quite good.
Pours a hazy light apricot color with a good fluffy white head that leaves some sticky lacing as it goes down. The nose brings forward a mild amount of wheat along with some good citrus character and a bit of orange rind. The flavor has good citrus character atop a wheat base. Light body with good carbonation and a really nice bitterness in the finish. Well done.

Poured on draft. Appearance is gold with a fluffy white head of foam. Aroma is soft hops and little else. Taste provides a hop dominant character with just a barely niticable biscuity aftertaste. If I didn’t know better I would think this was just a regular old IPA. Easily enjoyable beer.
