On tap at Jackie O’s pub in Athens. Deep brown appearance with a dark brown head. Toffee, milk chocolate, caramel. Moderately sweet. Pretty easy to drink. Drake (14078) - Milwaukee, Wisconsin, USA - AUG 21, 2016
Non Beer Trip Beer Trip Beer #22. Keg at the brewery. Dark brown, thin fizzy tan head, good retention. Aroma of roasted malts, chocolate, raisin, anise. The taste is chocolate, anise, roasted malt. Medium bodied.

Draft to taster at Dutch’s and another that I had a few times before. Pours a dark cola brown color with a small beige head. The aroma and flavor have, well, chocolate, dark and some sweeter milk chocolate, light roast, hint of earth, just a solid easy drinking sweet stout. At the Public House on draft. The deep brown, nearly black pour also had a mild tan head that lasted. Aroma is BIG cocoa nibs and dark chocolate with a hint of sweet milks and roasted malts. The taste is obviously big dark and milk chocolates. The sweet milks and maltball come through at the end with slight roastyness. Medium body, medium light carb. Really damn good. madelfonatree (317) - Columbus, Ohio, USA - OCT 29, 2015
Enjoyed on tap at Winking Lizard 10/23/2015.
Look - Brown. Tan head. I’ve let it sit for an hour and still has a ring of head.
Smell - Sweet chocolate. Dark chocolate. Soy sauce.
Taste - Chocolate.
Feel - Creamy. Smooth. Full.
Overall - This is a thick milk stout. It is nice to get the higher ABV and feel.

Big thanks to Deuane for bringing me this growler back from a recent trip to the brewery. Thanks again buddy! Growler poured into a duvel tulip.

A - Pours pitch black with a nice half finger tall dark tan head leaving very light lacing down the glass.
S - Tons of sweet chocolate and dark roasted malts mix well with a bit of lactose sweetness and the faintest hint of booze to create the core of this beer. More and more chocolate comes thru as it begins to come to room temp.
T - Plenty of chocolaty sweetness mixes well with the dark roasted malts, ground coffee, and lactose sweetness. Finish has plenty of sweetness throughout but it gets a bit hot as it warms up. Pretty good stout but nothing too mind blowing. I am looking forward to trying some of the other offerings from Jackie O’s.
M - Heavy body and flavor with moderate carbonation. A bit thin but no big deal there. Finish has plenty of dark roast and strong chocolaty sweetness.
D - Pretty good. Based on the fact that I drank nearly half the growler myself I must have enjoyed some part of this one. The balance was good but it was just a bit too sweet. Still pretty good tho.
Sample at the brewpub. Brownish-black pour with a medium creamy beige head that diminishes slowly. Partial rings of lacing on the glass. Sweet chocolate and malt in the nose. Medium-bodied with flavors of chocolate syrup, roast malt and mild coffee in the background. The finish is sweet with a chocolate malt aftertaste. Above average overall. phaleslu (10652) - Cincinnati, Ohio, USA - AUG 18, 2013
Nitro draft sample on the brewpub side. Pours a coffee brown with a creamy beige head. Abundant chocolate here, obviously, along with coffee, cream, toast, and earth. The milk chocolate is definitely there, but also some more bitter dark chocolate. Medium-bodied, with a smooth mouthfeel and soft carbonation. Delicious. On nitro at the brewpub. Very drinkable and yummy chocolate. Slightly higher alcohol than listed.
