Draft at the Production Facility during the 10th Anniversary weekend. Pours a cloudy gold color with a small white head that settles into a ring and an island of film. Notes of lemon, lime, pineapple, wheat, pale and sweet malts, mild ginger, rye, and lemon grass, and florals. Light-medium bodied, with moderate to medium carbonation and a bitter, zesty, refreshing mouthfeel. Seems like it was dosed with super fresh ingredients and done recently. Very nice. Growler thanks to JStax ! Pours a nice orange golden color with a finger of foam. On the nose its full of ripe citrus, orange, clementine, touch of earthy spice and some pineapple too. On the palate it is bright and clean and full of ipa flavors that I love ! Good light carbonation makes for a spot on mouthfeel and there is some nice grassy lime notes that mix nicely with the light malts and loads of citrus ! Great lingering bitterness balances out the sweetness nicely. Really nice IPA. Thanks man ! Dogbrick (14389) - Columbus, Ohio, USA - DEC 21, 2012
Sample at the brewpub. Pours a hazy straw color with a medium white head that dissipates steadily to an outer ring. Stringy lacing on the glass. Aroma of herbal hops and citrus. Light-bodied with flavors of grassy hops, zesty citrrus and malt. The finish is fruity with a mildly hoppy aftertaste. Pretty good overall. alexsdad06 (11392) - West Chester, Ohio, USA - DEC 21, 2012
Draft at 7th Anniversary party. Pours a hazy golden color with a medium sized lasting white head. The aroma is lemon zest, citrus, herbal, white pepper with a mild spicy note. The flavor is herbal, lemon grass, lemon zest, citrus, dry grass, some spicy notes from the rye, with a hint of white pepper. I enjoyed this very much. It was a nice change of pace with all of the barrel aged beers flowing at the party. DrSilverworm (10000) - Cincinnati, Ohio, USA - DEC 18, 2012
Sample on tap at Jackie-O’s 7th. Hazy yellow orange whitish color. Very nice white head. Thick lace. Really interesting aroma. Good zesty taste, light bitter. Great lemongrass aroma, grassy with light lemon peel zest, really works for this IPA. Good dry texture, lighter smooth and crisp carbonation. Really solid and well put-together unique tasting IPA.
