Appearance – Trampoline on top. Looks viscous. Amber-orange. Didn’t get a lot of head.
Aroma – Uncooked loaf of bread. Grapefruit. Cheap cologne “after smell.” Faintly dank. You know it is an IPA.
Taste – Malty. Citrusy. Alcohol is there but quickly fades.
Palate – Viscous. Smooth and sticky.
Overall – Enough differentiation to write home about this one. For those who say the D stands for Dank in DIPA, not quite there, but close enough. Equally matched with old school beer taste and citrus. beeratarian (229) - cleveland, Ohio, USA - FEB 17, 2015
On tap at fatheads. Pours hazy dark copper. Aroma of big butterscotch maltiness with some pine and caramel. Flavor is weird, like my first homebrewd dbl IPA . Malt takes over, a bit too sweet and some wandering yeasts worked their way in! Suprising for J-O’s. DialSquare (4962) - Columbus, Ohio, USA - FEB 7, 2015

Julie says does not taste 3 times hopped not worth 8 dollars. She gives a 1.

Small draft at the Portage Lakes Brewing Company in Akron, OH. Small taster glass. A very muddy orange-brown pour with a thick head. Aroma is sweet peaches, pineapples, orange, lemon, malts and leather. The taste was WHOA sweet. A little over the top sweet for me. Lots of fruits...almost like a dubbel. But it had a heavy hop profile with the bitterness at the end. Tons of malts. Medium to heavy body. Oily mouth. It was OK but glad it was only 4 oz.

Tap at FH, really weird for me to give an IPA less than 3 on palate, but this is so syrupy that it warrants it. big fruit sweetness added by something more than hops. like whoa sweet. Johnsense (1624) - - MAR 29, 2014
UPDATED: MAY 14, 2016 A big sweet iipa. Oangeish pour, good sized head. Strong grapefruit and orange, caramel malt aroma. Ripe grapefruit, orange peel, sweet caramel malt, grassy. On tap at Parker Pie Damico (3147) - Royersford, Pennsylvania, USA - MAR 28, 2014
Pours orange golden with a decent white head. Aroma is lime citrus hops, subtle smooth and pleasant sweetness radiating in the nose from 6 hops. Body is lighter and delicate, so smooth for an ABV of 9. Flavor is limes with some pleasant zest softly on the tongue to settle. FROTHINGSLOSH (7670) - GREENSBURG, Pennsylvania, USA - OCT 19, 2013
From the October 2013 3R6P gathering +++ Sampled from a growler this beer poured a murky peach-orange color with a medium sized foamy white head that faded quickly and left decent lacing. The aroma was strong pine, grapefruit and pineapple. The flavor was malty and sweet pine, grapefruit, lemon, bread and pineapple. Medium sweet and malty finish of bread, pine, grapefruit and pineapple. Moderately full bodied. Solid. alexsdad06 (10262) - Cincinnati, Ohio, USA - AUG 31, 2013
Draft at Dutch’s a few weeks back. Pours a slightly hazy honey amber color with a medium sized creamy off white head. The aroma had juicy citrus, some tropical fruit notes, grapefruit, slight resiny, caramel and pale malts. The flavor had big grapefruit citrus, oranges, sweet malts, caramel, grass, mild earthy notes, resiny. The finish has some assertive bitterness to the finish. I liked this quite a bit especially since it was so fresh.
