Sample at One Funky Afternoon at Jackie O’s on 04/02/2011: The beer is a cloudy tangerine color with a thin off-white head that recedes steadily. Short strings of lacing. Funky aroma with some fruity notes. Medium body with a raw fruity character and notes of wheat and yeast. The finish is fruity with a mildly tart aftertaste. Decent overall. This poured a cloudy light orange dark yellow color with a white head. Aroma was yeasty and bretty with some light sour fruit notes. Flavor was lightly fruity and tart, a little bit of funk and yeast. Average sour. JaBier (7973) - Capital City, Ohio, USA - APR 4, 2011
Sampled during One Funky Afternoon on 4/2/11. Cloudy, almost muddy amber pour with a thin off-white head. Sour aroma with creamy wheat and some fruit. Pukey and dank aroma with lemon, sugar and a creamy wheat finish. JStax (6504) - Devola/Marietta, Ohio, USA - APR 3, 2011
Poured from tap into a sampler glass. Appearance is a hazy gold with thin, quickly dissipating head. Aroma is almost nonexistent. Can’t seem to pick anything up. Taste is slightly yeasty with a bready finish. Thin to medium bodied. Not particularly my favorite of the lineup.

growler shared by kan- thanks! pours a muddy brown with a tiny offwhite head. notes of lactic acid sourness, some light bready cherry balsamic sourness as well. also has soap, nail polish battling with a wheat backbone. weird and muddled. not sure what to say. wasn’t bad, but needs more structure. would have been neat to try the regular wheat beer next to the dreg addition batch. thanks for sharing, kan. pantanap (3366) - Chicago, Illinois, USA - JUL 30, 2010
Growler from brad which was supposed to be shared at rbsg... Pours a murky cinnamon orange brown with a thin soapy white head... Some apricot and lighter dried fruit, perhaps some subtle berries, musty with yeast... Semi-tart fruit flavors with a soapy essence to it at first but that quickly dissipates and more of some tart fruits. Lightly carbonated and somewhat of a thinner mouthfeel.
