I have found the perfect Ipa. Ok, technically this is an IPL (India Pale Lager). Crisp, clean and delicious! Jack’s Abby never disappoints. From the Citra hop aroma, through the sharp, yet smooth finish, this beer is phenomenal. Eminently drinkable. Ctplt777 (530) - Virginia Beach, Virginia, USA - JUL 11, 2015
This is so good, I don’t know what else to say. This is a blast of dankness, citrus and pine. Absolute hop bomb of a beer. The taste follows suit. Absolutely wrecks your shit hoppy with a super smooth finish from the lager yeast. I love these ipl’s, theyre so refreshing in this huge sea of sameness lately. I’ll drink this over most ipa’s currently, it’s that good. Cheers. harmfillstead (8) - - APR 25, 2013 does not count
I can’t believe how inexpensive this beer is for the topmost quality ! Wonderful hops with a finish that tapers off to expose its lager roots in an unobtrusive, clean manner. PhilHarmstead (25) - Vermont, USA - MAY 15, 2013
Amazing idea to make a super-hopped lager. So points for that. But really, this beats most session IPAs hands-down for flavor and relatively low ABV. Wonderful beer and a steal at $2.69 for 1pt. 9oz. bottle in western MA. Erzengel (8744) - Wuppertal, GERMANY - JUN 2, 2014
UPDATED: MAR 25, 2015 Many thanks to Rian for sharing! Bottled on 5th March - so absolutely fresh! Fantastic floral fruity nose. Great floral fresh beer. Easy to drink, great hoppyness. Fresh floral hops. Grassy green brew, fresh, intense. Nice piney citrus, great intense fresh clean hoppyness. Round and great. A the hops are intense and in the foreground!

I love this beer, my absolute favorite. Piney, citrusy smell. Bitter taste on the palate. I could live on this beer! Myblais (6) - Worcester, Massachusetts, USA - MAR 16, 2017 does not count
A great hoppy IPL with a just the right amount of bitterness and a dry finish. Has a gold color and a frothy white head when poured. The hops permeate the aroma.
I’m thankful to be able to buy this on the regular in Massachusetts. momordgz (295) - - JUL 28, 2014
So hoppy, so tasty, bit spicy, great body... And very refreshing! Best Lager I ever drunk, and excellent even if you think of it as and IPA. jmagnus87 (2912) - Rockford, Illinois, USA - FEB 21, 2015
Bottle poured into a shaker. Pours dark orange with a half finger off white head. Aroma is gugely hoppy. Dank, topical and citrus fruits dominate with a hint of pine. Taste is medium bitter, follows aroma. Super long finish. Great brew! auerbrau (3203) - Ithaca, New York, USA - AUG 6, 2011
On tap at the brewery. Dense and intense aroma of fresh crushed citrus, gooey pine resin, and florals all melded together beautifully. The flavors are just as sharp and alive. This is so, so, so, so much better than 90% of all hoppy beers on the market and embarrasses most IPAs in terms of hop flavor and textural balance. Crisp, pungent, and lively. The flavors marry so well, into that explosive, rich emergent hop flavor that I’m always looking for in good Double IPAs. I thought it was so good, we left the tasting room and went out to find a bar that had it to get a full pour. Exceptional hop brewing!
