As Calyptra Session IPL.
Hazy, practically murky gold coloer with a big white head. Aroma is flowery and fruity, but not in the typical tropical fruit way. Notes of canned pear and apple. Taste bitter, and juicy. medium to full body and the feeling of a somewhat bigger beer than it actually is. It's not as clean and crisp as I've come to expect from modern IPAs, but in it's own somewhat murky way it is quite tasty. jflopsu (1862) - Hoboken, New Jersey, USA - OCT 23, 2017

Can from A.J.s. Nose is lemon, grass, berry, orange, grapefruit, crackers. Hazy bright golden color with a low, thick head. Light herbal flavor, citrus, grass, crackers, light berry and vegetable. Crisp and light and improved as it opened up. meccahh69lol (366) - New Haven, Connecticut, USA - JUL 23, 2017
This one is extremely refreshing but still has a great punch of flavor. Pours a hazy yellow, with an aroma of grass and resin, with a faint hint of citrus. Taste has some bitterness, but not too much - certainly a hoppy beer but without the bitter of a more severe IPA. Good for chilling after you return from a trip to Florida and immediately seek out cuddles, metal CDs, and a salad with your booboo, and for rating before you venture out to a Sunday evening showing of the highly rated "Valerian: the city of something or another" in 3D. Can (May 01, 2017 canning, 4.9%). Head is initially average sized, frothy, off-white, mostly lasting. Body is medium yellow. Aroma is lightly malty (toasted grain), moderately hoppy (grapefruit, kumquat, herbs). Flavor is moderately sweet, lightly acidic, lightly bitter. Finish is lightly sweet, lightly acidic, moderately bitter. Medium body, watery/velvety texture, lively carbonation.
Pretty darn solid...nicely hoppy without being overdone or raw/crude. Pleasantly quaffable in the mouth. Americanized, yes, but gentler than most (low acid, low resin, etc.), and a decent slugger as a result. j12601 (13304) - Poughkeepsie, New York, USA - JUN 8, 2017
