COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Seasonal; Autumn - Released in November.
This is an intensely hoppy and strong lager that we refer to as a Double India Pale Lager. Over four pounds of hops per BBL of New Zealand hops (Kiwi Hops) were used in progressively larger hop additions throughout the brewing process. Four kettle hop additions, whole leaf hops in the hop back, and multiple dry hop additions infuse an intense floral and citrusy aroma. No kiwifruit or kiwi birds were used in the production of this beer.

Pour from a can, consistent amber color and not cloudy. Slight head. Taste is sweet with a hop bite. Very smooth and not much aftertaste. I recommend for anyone who finds 2x IPA too aggressive. Nicely done. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

16oz can. This is a great rendition of the "Double India Pale Lager" concept, with an obscene amount of tropical fruit hop character and a very light, basically imperceptible lager yeast flavor. It drinks like a DIPA, which is a high compliment.

Can from Toby. Very pale golden, fine sparse head. Light citrusy aromas, taste ticks up the tartness, tangy: prickly finish. Fairly juicy, light on the palate.

16oz can. Pours hazy gold with a moderate white head. Aroma is floral hops, grapefruit, mango, pineapple, and grass. Taste is similar with delicate pineapple and grapefruit up front giving way to resiny pine, grain, and a strong malt presence. Strong bitterness. Finishes a little harsh with acrid resin. Medium-full body. Soft carbonation. Silky, thick mouthfeel.

Can from Milk and Hops, Chelsea. Hazy orange pour, frothy beige head and strong lacework. Juicy, fruity aroma. Good amount of dank hops as well. Floral notes. Grains and bready spice. Fairly bitter over a pretty strong malt presence. Fairly full bodied, crisp, with average carbonation and a little bit of boozy heat. Pretty enjoyable.

Thanks Shawn McShowber. Pours a slightly hazy muted orange color with a small white head. Lacing left on the glass. Aroma of grassy, dank floral hops and light grainy malt. Taste is of nice floral, grassy hops, and slightly sweet grainy malt. Drying finish. Not much detection of alcohol. Medium mouthful. Easy drinking. Great rendition of this style. This would be my go-to beer if available.
