Half liter bottle shared at a tasting. Hazy orange thin foamy tan head, good retention. Aroma of smoke, maple, toffee. The taste is smoke, caramel, maple, mild cherries. Medium bodied, low carbonation. Not too much barrel character.

Bottle. Pours copper orange with a thin white head. Aroma of smoke, maple and caramel. Flavor was sweet and smoky with maple, caramel, toffee and had a hint of vanilla. Medium body, average carbonation, dry smoky finish.

Pour is a hazed copper with a tight light tan head. Nose is strong grain up front, a bit rubbery. Hints of woody ash, and a touch of tree sap. Taste is super smokey, full on campfire. Some grain underneath and a hint of sweet tree sap. Body is light, carb is strong, feel is a hint slick.

Bottle pours out a amber topped with a small head. Nose is tons of smoke some vanilla bourbon and sweetness. Taste is to much smoke for me some barrel notes vanilla maple syrup roast malts and some spice.

Draft. Pours deep maple in color with thick creme head. You can smell bourbon and maple syrup over this lightly carbonated brew. Tasty and sweet but a bit boozy for my taste. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Pours clear mahogany into an English pint. Pancake head with medium retention recedes to skim surface. Sweet vanilla and smoke aromas. Soft with vanilla and maple upfront turning to mild smoke in the lasting finish.

Bottle thanks to WillRunForBeer (thanks, dude). Aroma is maple candy, bacon grease, and caramel. Pours iced tea brown with a hazy film. Taste is very nice with candied bacon, caramel apples, and a pervasive malt. Mouthfeel is very light considering the tastes involved. Very complex and subdued overall. Nice.

Sampled at Jack’s Abby. Pours amber with a cream-colored head. Aroma of oak, smoked malts, maple, light toffee and caramel from the malts, and light floral hops. Average texture. A pretty good beer.

Earthy campfire smoke. Earthy dirty maple syrup. Muddled watered down Bourbon vanilla and wet oak. Okay. Not really my thing.

Fantastic dark amber with a beige head that dissipates quickly. Aroma is weak, charred oak. Flavor-wise there's a lot going on. Malty up front with some dry oak and a touch of smoke that leads to a mineral and maple finish. Interesting, but not a favorite.
