3.7 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 14/20
Pours clear, pale amber with a pillowy, white head that lingers long and leaves generous, sticky lacing. Nose is hoppy; strong citrus notes, some orange peel. Some floral notes there, too. Taste is somewhat bitter at first, tapering off to a more typical lager flavor, albeit brisker and brighter than the average lager. Aftertaste is a touch bitter like grapefruit pith and lingers long. Medium body, mild carbonation. Definitely well beyond any lager I’ve tried. I’d buy this again. I’m a fan.

3.8 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20
12 oz bottle from Premier Gourmet. Pours a clearish golden yellow with average-sized white head with good retention. Aroma is tropical fruit, pine, pepper and grains. Flavour has grapefruit, lemon zest, pine, crackery grains and peppery spice. Solidly bitter. Medium body. Dangerously drinkable for the ABV.

4 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 16/20
355 nl bottle, Cardinal Pub & Bar, Stavanger. ABV is 8,0%, IBU 100. Unfiltered and unpasteurised. Hazy golden colour, large white head. Lovely aroma of American hops, notes of tropical fruits, wood and pine, some malty notes too. The flavour has some malts and caramel sweetness, but is first and foremost hoppy, with fruity and piney notes, and a solid but not too extreme bitterness in the finish. In a blind test i would have guessed that this was a double IPA. Must be one of the better golden lagers I’ve had.

3.9 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 16/20
Bottle. Light hazy yellow with a large white head. Bright hoppy nose with citrus and pot. Flavour is also hop driven with lots of citrus and some sweet tropical fruits; peach, light mango. Light bready malt in the back and some warming alcohol. Medium body, soft/light prickling carbonation, well balanced, neither sweetness or bitterness sticks out. Crisp finish. Good stuff and very drinkable for the abv.

3.3 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20
Aroma: sweet grains, caramel, toffee, tropical fruits, some peaches. Appearance: clear gold, medium, creamy, white head. Taste: medium to heavy sweet. Palate: turns very bitter, alcohol, lots of grain. Overall: slightly disappointed about this Imperial Pilsner, aroma is quite nice yet the palate a bit of a let down. Bottle from Beers of Europe, Kings Lynn.

4.2 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 17/20
Got in a BIF from ZebraCakez. 12 ounce bottle into lager glass; bottle dating is worn off. Pours hazy deep golden color with a 1-2 finger dense and rocky white head with fantastic retention, that reduces to a nice cap that lasts. Nice dense soapy lacing clings down the glass, with a good amount of streaming carbonation retaining the head. Fantastic appearance. Aromas of big lemon zest, orange peel, grapefruit, citrus rind, pine, herbal, floral, grass, cracker, bread, and floral/grassy earthiness. Damn nice aromas with great complexity and balance of bright citrus/pine hops and light-moderate pale malt notes; with good strength. Taste of big grapefruit, lemon zest, orange peel, citrus rind, pine, herbal, floral, grass, cracker, bread, and floral/grassy earthiness. Good amount of pine/citrus rind bitterness on the finish; with lingering notes of grapefruit, lemon/orange zest, citrus rind, pine, cracker, bread, and floral/grassy earthiness on the finish for a good bit. Damn nice complexity and balance of bright citrus/pine hops and light-moderate pale malt flavors; with a great bitterness/sweetness balance and zero cloying flavors after the finish. Very clean on lager flavors with zero yeast ester notes present. Medium carbonation and body; with a very smooth, crisp, and fairly sticky mouthfeel that is nice. Alcohol is well hidden with minimal warming present after the finish. Overall this is a very excellent IPL style. All around great complexity and balance of bright citrus/pine hops and light-moderate pale malt flavors; and very smooth and crisp to drink for the ABV. A very enjoyable offering.

3.8 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 14/20
Grainy citrus malt aroma. Super think head that says "I’m not going anywhere!". Body is a hazy straw yellow color. Has an initial bitter blast that gets your attention. Citrus grain taste with a fruit tart likeness in the background I can’t identify.

4 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 17/20
Bottle from Brewtopia. Pure clear gold with lasting head and lace. Smells like a grassy ipa with some bread dough. MIld crackery sweetness with assertive citrus rind long bitterness. Medium body. Clean assertive carbo. A very good IPA for a lager.
