500ml bottle pours dark reddish brown cloudy with light edges, small finger of head. Nose is spice mix, cinnamon, nutmeg, light bread toast, malt, plum. Taste is similar, some light malty dark grain and bread, strong but balanced fall spice mix, medium bitterness. Finishes with some plum, dark grain, bread, cinnamon, nutmeg, spice, some gourd. Draught at Sunset Grill, 11/25/15.MaBeer1972 (2144) - Reno, Nevada, USA - OCT 15, 2012
Clear, glassy, dark amber with some light mahogany tints. Beige head is small and mostly dissipating, though you can never be sure if that’s the beer or the very poor maintenance of the draught lines at this place.
Lots of pumpkin in the nose, meaty and rich and quite authentic. Nutmeg, allspice and vanilla round it out, but are not overdone, as dry caramel and toffee enter the mix as well. Good, clean, pumpkin fun, with no flaw or alcohol noted.
Flavor is pumpkiny, that’s for sure. Meaty, rich and just like the nose. In a sense it dominates the beer, but you can tell this is meant to be a pumpkin-centered/pumpkin-forward beer, not just a dark lager with a slight pumpkin aspect. I don’t find it too sweet, there’s no artificiality to it and the spicing, while somewhat prominent, isn’t overdone. Medium body, off-dry overall with a bit of a hard texture from what I’d guess are some crystal malts. Medium to low carbonation really concentrates the pumpkin. I really, really like pumpkin beers (when real pumpkins are used), so I may be a bit biased here. Definitely a one-trick pony and if you’re looking for a subtle pumpkin beer, this is not your man.
Single bottle from Julio’s. A clear medium orange color. Thin head, but good carbonation. Aromas of earthy roasted pumpkin and light spice. Flavor is on the dry side, spice is in check. Bitterness on the backside. An interesting take on a pumpkin beer. thornecb (6022) - Marblehead, Massachusetts, USA - OCT 22, 2012
Pours deep slightly hazed amber into a Sam glass. White head with little retention recedes to mottle surface. Cinnamon, pumpkin and nutmeg aromas. Soft with sweet caramel upfront turning to pumpkin and spice in the dry, medium length finish. DrSilverworm (9671) - Cincinnati, Ohio, USA - NOV 6, 2012
500ml bottle, thanks to radarsock. October 2012 version. Nice authentic pumpkin and squash aroma up front. Light nutmeg, cinnamon. Awesome, smooth texture, lighter carbonation. Nice dry texture. Hazy orange - amber color. Good thin off-white head, that has good retention. Nice savory and spice taste, little sweet. Good sections of lace. As far as pumpkin beer goes, this beats most of the ales that I’ve tried that are of similar gravity. Well-done.

500 mL bottle purchased from Leary’s an hour ago for $3.80. Checkout was excruciating, however. Contemplating not going back. To tulip, it pours a rusty sinopia with a creamy Navajo white ringed head barely a fingernail in length. Aromas of pumpkin pie spices (cinnamon, nutmeg, and ginger), red kuri squash, lavender, celery seed, graham crackers, peppercorn, and cardboard. Tastes accentuate its maltiness by a 3rd; pumpkin meat and spices detected. Very thin body. Respectable. two7offsuit (448) - Massachusetts, USA - OCT 10, 2014

Sampled at the Engine Room in Mystic, CT the night before Streets and Annie’s wedding. Pours a clear amber body with thin white lacing. Mouthfeel is medium bodied with loads of spice and sugar upfront, but never really overbearing pumpkin character on the palate. Nice. argo0 (14127) - Washington DC, USA - DEC 27, 2015
50cl bottle. Small beige head atop hazy dark amber body. Aroma is moderately sweet, allspice, ginger, nutmeg, light cinnamon. Taste is moderately sweet, allspice, some ginger, nutmeg, light cinnamon. Light-medium body, light stickiness. As pumpkin beers go, this is really good.
