COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Cloaked in mystery, this dark black beer skirts the line between a schwarzbier and smoked porter. The use of a small percentage of traditional Beechwood smoked malt adds complexity and balances the liberal use of chocolate malt. Notes of roasted grains, beechwood smoke and coffee accompany a full bodied and sweet chocolatey malt character. Smoke & Dagger uses locally sourced ingredients. OG 14.5 Plato

Sampled this at Tap and Mallet total tap takeover. Really nice. I don’t typically care much for the smoked style but this was understated and elegant. Not much different than their scharzbiers. I liked it and will see out more of the series.

bottled - pours dark brownish - smokey aroma, roasted malts. Thinner mouthfeel. something about the smokiness of this one was a bit more acrid/cigarettish than I’m used to.

Color caoba oscuro, espuma beige ligera. Aromas tostados de café y tofe. Cuerpo medio-bajo, sabor inicial ligeramente dulce y tostado que pasa a un amargor ligero, tostado y seco. Muy rica.
