Pours a dark brown with a beige rim that leaves nice lacing. Nose is of cloves, spices, cherries and cola. Taste is pretty sour with more fall spices and pumpkin. Body is medium, carbonation moderate and it is filling but not too much. Overall a pretty fun beer that I’d probably have again. Way more interesting than the other plain pumpkin beers out there.

on tap on the premises - pre-ebf. unclear dark brown pour with a small light beige cap offering some retention and lacing. cherry coke *TM, bourbon, spicy christmas cranberries, medium acidity - some complexity; lots of perfume, hint of smokiness - softly smoked atoka jelly perhaps, other spices. moderate carboantion, medium body - very oily; tart, woody and tannic-spicy finish. tart, spicy, perfumey and christmasey. ugh. j12601 (13034) - Poughkeepsie, New York, USA - FEB 5, 2017
