The Ginger Man, NyC tap: pours gold with a white head. Aroma is light grain and bread and a hint of hops. Taste is kind of sweet and a bit creamy. Not too bitter. Very easy drinking. Well crafted.

Bottle pour into nonic pint glass from One Stop Market. Aroma is pilsner malts, light cracker with noble and grassy hops. Appearance is slightly hazy pale greenish-yellow with minimal sparkle, fizzy three-finger width white head with fair retention and minimal soapy lacing. Taste is pilsner malt cracker with light sweetness. Palate is light bodied with thin texture, average carbonation and dry finish. Overall, pretty true to traditional European stylings. Light and crisp.

4 oz pour on draft at Jack’s Abby. Consumed on 4/21/2016. Clear straw yellow with off-white head. Aromas of malt, citrus. Tastes of wheat, malt, citrus. Medium-light body with a dry finish. Nice pils.

Moderate grain and yeast aroma. Cloudy yellow color with a large white head. Lightly bitter flavor that fades in the finish and gets slightly sweeter.

Unclear medium orange yellow color with a average, frothy, good lacing, mostly lasting, white head. Aroma is moderate malty, pale malt, grain, fruity malt, moderate to heavy agner, moderate hoppy, grass, fruity hops, earthy - dusty notes. Flavor is moderate to light heavy sweet and moderate to heavy bitter with a long duration, dry, fruity malt, grain, malt, grass - dusty, light earthy - dusty. Body is medium, texture is oily to watery, carbonation is soft.

Bottle 12 fl.oz.Clear to hazy medium golden, two finger foamy white head, mostly diminishing, good lacing; strong malt aroma, toasted, some caramel, cereals, bit nutty, hay; taste is medium sweet and bitter, malty, bread, bit toffee, withaverage duration, finish is mild dry and light toasted; medium body, oily texture, soft carbonation; well-balanced, fresh, dunno if this is a real Pilsner, too toasted for that imo but a good lager anyway.

Bottle @ home. Thanks for sending this one, Shawn. I guess I don’t have a palate, as I liked this a lot. Sort of a hazed golden pour with a smaller white head. Great honey, biscuit, and bready malts. Light bitterness of chalk and grass. Bright floral hops. Maybe just a hint of citrus zest to it on the back end.
