Bottle labeled Mom and Pop Wet Hop Lager. Pours a clean, clear copper color with a small head that recedes to nothing. Nose is light dry grass notes, some straw and light toast. Palate is crisp and clean. Flavors of grass, light biscuit and toasty malt notes, some dryness.
(draft @ The Old Toad - Rochester, NY) Hazy orange with a thin white head. Very light hop aroma but lots of dry grass and some malts. Light hop flavor and a nice malt and dry bread backbone and a very light and crisp finish. UDBeernut (2883) - Saint Johns, Florida, USA - OCT 20, 2014
Pours medium brown, translucent, small off white head. Some grass and flowers in nose. Mostly wet and toasted grains, light bitterness, medium body. pete4999 (1445) - Buffalo, New York, USA - OCT 20, 2014
On tap at Mr. Goodbar in Buffalo, NY. Had an orange pour and wasn’t really notable on the hops at all. I kinda wondered if they had served me the wrong beer, it kinda tasted like an Octoberfest, but based on the other reviews here, it doesn’t look like it. It wasn’t bad, but just wasn’t what I was expecting. I was expecting a little more flavor. williamstome (1909) - Somerville, Massachusetts, USA - OCT 16, 2014
Orange pour. Aroma of citrus and pot. Flavor of caramel, toasty malt, pot hops. Not terribly exciting bu11zeye (13029) - Frisco (Dallas), Texas, USA - JUN 19, 2014

Bottle at home in Salisbury. Pours clear gold, moderately effervescent with a large, frothy white cap. The bose has lots of doughy bread, cereal, faint lemon and grass. Medium sweet flavor with lots of sugary white bread, Cool Whip, cereal, mild tangerine and straw. Light bodied with average carbonation. Sweet finish with further doughy white bread, creamy citrus meringue, straw, faint lemon rind. Very drinkable if a bit simple. Holtguy (178) - Grand Rapids, Michigan, USA - NOV 21, 2013
Golden pour with white head. Aroma of grains, but strangely non-hoppy considering the name. Flavor is a sweet, bright pale lager, a bit more flavorful than a typical good lager. Not hoppy. Was disappointed in that. Still pretty good. brystmar (1314) - Dallas, Texas, USA - NOV 8, 2013
#900! Golden, fizzy pour; looks basic and bland. Sweet malted grain fills the air, overly sweet on the palate. Lacks the refinement and depth of other JA lagers. Dunt (316) - Illinois, USA - OCT 29, 2013
Received from my guy Allen. Pours a pale yellow in color with a half fingers worth of tight white head. Nose is strong lager yeast and spice. A little grainy as well. Flavor focuses more on the graininess, there is absolutely no hoppiness to it. Like another reviewer mentioned, this is very cereal like. Good carbonation, light crisp mouthfeel, and a moderate finish. Not a bad traditional lager, but was hoping for more hoppiness. They do hoppy lagers so well that I think this is a disappointment. UPDATED: OCT 29, 2013 Yellow without much head, a little hop haze to it. Fairly weak floral aromas. Nice flavor though, lots of grassy hops on display. Well balanced by the underlying sweet lager. Easy-drinking mouth feel, no fault there. Decent beer, never had a wet-hopped lager before. $7 draft pour at Mead Hall in Cambridge.
