omhper (24973) - Tyresö, SWEDEN - AUG 5, 2009
Draught at Wurstkuchl, Regensburg. Clear pale yellow, small head. Intense grassy nose. Dry, grainy and crisp with slim vital body. Freshening hoppy with lingering bitterness. A lovely pils that has everyting a pils should have - slim crispness, marked grassy hoppiness and powerful bitterness. Super quenching.

bottled. just when i’d given up hope that any of the beers we’d bought in amberg might be any good, we cracked this tasty pils open. quite pale with a fluffy head. aroma of caramel and watermelon and hallertau lots of fresh apple flavours and plenty of dryness and reasonable bitterness. classy stuff

duff (5484) - Copenhagen, DENMARK - OCT 16, 2004
Bottle. Lovely pils. Some light sweet rockmellony fruit to start, light breadyness. Finishes in a wonderfully refreshing way. The rockmelon is stil there at the end, but theres this lovely zingy, grassy lemony hop bitterness in the finish, absolutely loved it, a nice surprise. Nice dry finish.

Koelschtrinker (20229) - Köln (Cologne), GERMANY - MAY 20, 2011
UPDATED: SEP 1, 2011 Frisch herber und würziger Antrunk. Im Mittelteil deutlich bitterer, grasig. Die Frische bleibt vorhanden, die Würzigkeit sinkt etwas. Brotig, hopfig, knackig bitter zum Ende. Vollmundiges Pils. 6/12/11/12/7/12

ippopotamo36 (2354) - Rome, ITALY - NOV 22, 2016
Tap at Luppolo Station in Rome-Italy. Clear or hazy pale golden pour, white tick head with many drafts on glass. Nose: grains, bread malt aroma, mild feel of noble hops. A bit honey. Nice. Mouth: honey, pine honey really, frizzy notes of spices and sweet malts. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Geiserich (4498) - Linz, AUSTRIA - JUN 6, 2006
Draught at Wurstküche, Regensburg: VEry fresh and hoppy aroma. Nearly no head, no carbonation, golden color. Fresh hoppy flavor, light malty sweetness, light herbal and grassy hop notes. Light to medium bitter, dry and astringent finish. Nice pilsener.

Jukkabro (3484) - Tampere, FINLAND - MAR 12, 2012
Light yellow colored with medium sized white head. Fruity with some peach tones, aromatic rich grassy, even herbal-perfumy aroma here as well. Medium bodied. Flavor is more hopped with same perfumy-herbal note, this flowery perfume lasts in aftertaste with still some sweet fruits.

Maria (10212) - Thisted, DENMARK - DEC 20, 2012
It’s golden with a creamy, white head. The aroma has notes of flower, malt, straw and a touch of bread. I would call this is Bohemian pilsner, not a classic German... ah welll. The flavor has a light sweetness and lovely bready and floral notes and the the finish is slightly dry.

mjs (7169) - Helsinki, FINLAND - MAY 15, 2013
(Keg at Wurstküchel, Regensburg, 20130515) The beer poured golden and clear. Its head was medium sized and white. Aroma had grass, metallicness and grain. Palate was medium bodied with medium carbonation. Flavours were grass, herbalness, grain, malts and bitterness. Aftertaste was mildly grainy and bitter. A good pils.
