SkillsFactory (720) - ITALY - MAY 24, 2017
Best before 25 maggio 2017, aperta il 24 maggio 2017. Ben carbonata, corpo leggero, oleosa.

From old tasting notes. Deep ruby red color. Small white head. Intensely sweet cherry aroma. Bittersweet cherry fruit flavor has a tangy, yeasty flavor. Nicely done.

At Zythos 2017. Pours clear dark ruby. Aroma is soft cherry, slightly rusty, rather soft, some barrel. Body is medium, sweet, only a little sour. Rather artificial cherry flavours. Palate is sweet cherries. Good.

Bottle 0,33L. Clear, dark red color with thin, off-white (slightly red), frothy head, that dissipate fast. Aroma of cherries and red wine. Taste is sour and fruity - cherries of course with a tart finish, that leave some almond notes in the aftertaste. Easy to drink with just right amount of sourness for me. Very refreshing!

At Bruges Beer Fest 2017. Pours clear red with a small pink head. Smells of lambic. The aroma also contains cherries and sugar. It tastes medium sweet and medium sour. Short finish, fizzy carbonation. Expected more, Lindemans Kriek is in any case tastier.

11.2 ounce bottle poured into a snifter. The beer is a dark red with a pink head of foam. Good head retention. The aroma has jammy cherry notes, but the taste is more like the cherry flavored tootsie rolls. I get sweet cherry notes and chocolate tootsie roll notes in the taste. Sweet at first, with a moderate acidity to it. Lingering fruity finish. Medium body and medium carbonation. Overall it is pretty good, but it is odd how sweet the beer is in comparison to Cuvee des Jacobin.
