2.6 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 11/20
Sample from a bottle, ØK 13. Dark amber in body colour, crystal clear. Pale malty nose alongside a mild spicy touch. Dried fruity taste on a moderate dry, chili backbone. Chili ending, not overdone. Satisfying (Copenhagen 25.05.2013).
Bottled (old backlog). Deep amber colour, small head. Aroma is bread, chili, mild toasted notes as well as some mild sugary notes. Flavour is chili, malts, bread, mild grass, earth and some toffee. vonpolski (32) - Borup, DENMARK - APR 9, 2014
A Top fermented ale. Deep golden/dark with with a small light brown head. The pilsner malt is sweetened with syrup, which give the beer a tast of caramel and dried fruit. Nearly without any carbonation. In the beginning the beer is flat and soft almost too gentle. You search for the chilli. But after you have placed the glass at the table is comes. A nice clear and sharp chilli, not unpleasant and burning but soft and lingering. But as my wife said. It have only two notes. KennethArd (579) - Odense, DENMARK - JAN 8, 2014
The aroma is sweet with a hint of chili & green pepperfruit. Black with long lasting beige head. Sickening sweet taste finished with chili. Light body, sticky texture, flat carbonation with chili & nothing else in the finish. ktingleff (169) - - JAN 5, 2014
Drukket til let Thai-mad (curry). Det var egentlig et meget fint match. Let chilismag og ret rund i det. Ikke vildt interessant i sig selv

Pours a very dark brown body with a tiny, bubbly, very light brown head. Strong aroma that is very dark and malty, first of all lots of burnt sugar, also malt extract and sweet dark dried fruits. The flavours are strong and malty, burnt sugar, malt extract, dark caramel, raisins. The chilli comes mid-palate and dominates the finish. Moderate sweet taste. I don’t think there is much bitterness in the finish, but that’s hard to say due to the gentle but nevertheless slightly tongue numbing chilli burn. Close to full-bodied, oily texture and moderate carbonation. Good stuff. I like chilli beers like this that actually is drinkable, and not just burning hot.
