Casper0904 (488) - DENMARK - SEP 6, 2017
Lots of alcoholic taste, and so little of the cognac! Good idea, but poor brew!

ken1 (2072) - DENMARK - NOV 6, 2015
Aroma: pretty fruity sweet with cognac notes. Flavour: very sweet with caramel notes and ripe berries. An aftertaste like cognac and butter. Colour: light brown with an offwhite head.

liinis (1775) - Helsinki, FINLAND - MAY 10, 2014
Very good beer with a hint of cognac. Very enjoyable and interesting. Strong and warming

Wanja (771) - GERMANY - DEC 31, 2013
0.33 l bottle from Odense, Denmark... Clear dark red color, short head... Fruity alcoholic aroma of berries, honey and sirup... Strong fruity ale flavor... Nice cognac ending...

Benzai (16500) - Oirschot, THE NETHERLANDS, NETHERLANDS - NOV 3, 2013
Bottle @ home shared with Dutchdrebus. Clear amber color, small off - white head that diminishes quickly. Aroma has malts, leaves, overripe fruits, lightly raisins, a slight touch of tea. Taste malts, slightly sweet, maybe slightly overripe fruits. Not a lot of flavors, at least I was expecting more. Doesn’t taste like 8.5% ABV either. Medium body and carbonation.

DutchDrebus (6092) - Oirschot, NETHERLANDS - NOV 3, 2013
Bottle @ Benzai. Amber to copper colour with no head. Smells some alcohol and some malts. Not a lot of smell. Tastes some malts, watery, some alcohol. Boring as fuck. Thin body, soft carbo. Even Rabbitos (benzai’s rabbit) disapproves.

MiP (15960) - Sønderborg, DENMARK - OCT 26, 2013
Bottle, 8.5%. Fruity aroma. Clear dark amber colour. Small unstable head. The flavour is malty, sweet, papery, and slightly boozy. On the sweet side, but nicely balanced by a warming alcohol.

Bamsen78 (5538) - Sønderborg, DENMARK - OCT 26, 2013
Bottle. Pours clear amber with small, airy off-white head. Clear atoma of malt, caramel and fruit. Booze in the long nose. Bitter, hoppy flavour, quickly giving way to sweetish notes of malt, caramel and fruit. Warming alcohol presence. Bitter, mildly boozy aftertaste. OK.

Cunningham (8247) - Halden, NORWAY - OCT 20, 2013

Appearance: Deep nutty brown color with small off white head that ends up in a thin layer.
Aroma: Rich caramel malty, fruity and some cognac.
Palate: Medium body. A bit sweet and a mild bitterness. Average carbonation.
Taste: Solid deep caramel malty, rich fruity and some cognac.
Overall impression: Feared a lot of alcohol in this one. Quite balanced and ok. Most useful in food.
Personal stats: Bottle Gundersen brought with him from summer camp in Denmark.

8,6,5,5,7,5 - 5,55 - 19/9/13
