COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION

750 ml bottle. A very good Brown Ale. Not too heavy, but clear taste of chocolate and caramel malt. Not too sweet, and gives a semi-dry aftertaste that was well received by my stomach.....

I bought this bottle in one Coop in Lausanne. I drank it tonght in Lausanne. This one makes me better impression than the blonde saaz. This one is classical but it is not extraordinary but it is drinkable, in my point of view the brooklyn brown ale tastes better. The color is dark/brown, thin brown and white head, regular carbonation, a bit higher than usual. The taste is sweet, nice touch of caramel, malt, we smell a touch of alcool at the end, some hop but it is discreet, not bad.

[email protected] Dark brown amber clear. Malty, dried fruits, bit old sweet leathery malty nose. Med bodied, bit herby, malty dry bready. Tad bland again, but clean drinkable. Feels lagery the way its slight dull doughy.

Good, dense, thick yellow head over clear red-copper beer. Sweetish, woody, spicy malts, chestnuts, dark green leaves aromas. Dry, bitter-spicy, woody, with a background sweetish maltbread finish. Bitterness is even a bit metallic, certainly in the aftertaste. Rather empty MF, watery, faintly slick. Low to medium carbonation Not what I expected - browns are usually oustpoken sweet-malty. But this one, however mainly bitter, is unrefined.

@ Havregatan 20161125. Bottle (750 ml) from Bordershop, Puttgarden. Caramely, fruity and malty, nutty and roasted notes, sweet, medium body with an oily texture. The finish is bitter, roasted and caramely.
