[Sampled at the MS-Swamp-lovers gathering.] Clear amber look and small head. Aroma of pines needles, needlewood, like old danish klosterbeer brewed with needles instead of hops. Nice weelbalanced flavor, where it’s never too much with the doses. Good brew.
A nice danish spiced beer for enjoying on the bench in the garden, on a spring noon. nybol (2347) - DENMARK - JUL 11, 2017
Ofte får Jacobsen kritik for dårlige øl. Jeg synes nu det må være snobberi, øllene har efter min smag god kvalitet.
Det gælder også denne øl. Den har en kraftig smag af noget lakridsagtig, og godt humlet. TorbenJensen (1572) - Valby, DENMARK - SEP 6, 2015
Powerful spicy aroma with a hint of pine needles. Foam is close and continuous. Cream-like mouthfeeling with flavors of tart grapefruit and flower. Long aftertaste which is hopped in a different way, namely with the aforementioned flower with slight bitterness to follow. Myonlyvice (341) - DENMARK - AUG 30, 2015
From tap. Fairly High carbonation. Citrus in the aroma. Taste is very slightly sour. Only decent

Apricot-tart-cream, clear copper body. Scents of caramel, plums, grass, apples, toffee.
Taste of caramel, plums, apples, wort, dark sweet bread, chocolate.
Crispy fresh normal. Chocolate-caramel finish. Somewhat unvaried at the end but overall a nice brew, almost as a bock.

Bottle 0.75l. Nice beer. Clear red color with white head. Caramel, flower and citrus aroma. Very refreshing. nazzty (1377) - Ödåkra - Helsingborg, SWEDEN - MAY 12, 2013
Interesting flavors that somehow still holds together the beer in a good way. Fresh without becoming watery! Bamsen78 (5562) - Sønderborg, DENMARK - APR 14, 2013
Bottle. Pours clear amber with airy but stable off-white head. Clear aroma of caramel, hops and citrus. Malty and caramellish flavour, enriched by hoppy and spicy notes. A little watery and a trifle too sweet but ok. McWorta (1633) - LUXEMBOURG - MAR 31, 2013
Deep copper amber in colour with a rather smooth head. Sarkling liquid nosing of floral, wet grass, hops and dust/wet soil aromas. Light prickling and medium-full bodied. Hoppy light sweet bitter taste. Finish is coherent with its light soft texture but not too long lasting. Nice one suits, the spring. brnandersen (4109) - Copenhagen, DENMARK - MAR 31, 2013
75 cl. bottle at Easter dinner. Clear, amber-golden colour with a small, off-white head. Spicy aroma with citrus fruits, caramel and chocolate malts, pines some hard identifiable spices. A bit messy, not unpleasent. Light sweet taste. Medium body, creamy texture, average carbonation, Finishes lightly bitter with spices and malts. Worked fine with the lamb, but the spices makes this beer a bit messy.
